California Pizza Kitchen at Burbank

My wife and I stopped by this California Pizza Kitchen for dinner last night with her brother. We got seated quick and our server was Dillon. My wife got the Salmon plank, her brother got The Works pizza and I got the lettuce wrap with chicken and shrimp. We all love our food but the service was very slow with our server. He was not attentive to us on refills or bread and I had to walk up to him to get his attention at the bar area after being ignored while he attended other tables.

I always have good food and service here. Plus, there's tons of parking!

The tostada pizza has been my favorite for like 20 years, and it alone keeps me coming back.

I have loved this place since I was 10 and they used to have full loaves of sourdough sliced thick. It was great before prices everywhere went up in restaurants, but when CPK remained in their general price tier, they became king for my pasta dinner splurges. During their 40th anniversary promotion that they have done this year, I've probably eaten here 20 times because it's lowered their prices even further. Honestly this place should have a line out the door if people knew how to hack it right. I order one or two extra ingredients in each dish and suddenly they're two meals each for only a buck or two more. I'm having dine-out meals for $8-12 a plate this way and I am hooked!

Everything was tasty and delicious.
Staff are really friendly.
Portions are big and prices are reasonable.

Quick service without compromising quality.

All of the CPKs in Washington close down years ago so when visiting my friend in Burbank it was great to come back to what used to be a staple. Love the chopped salad and don't even have to look at the menu to get it. Wish they hadn't closed up here but at least every now and then I get a chance to have a favorite. The service was good the restaurants relatively clean enjoyed our lunch.

The CPK in Burbank is one of my favorite to dine in. They have really good fresh baked pizza all the time as well as the salads and the soups are tastier too.The employees are really nice and friendly. And they have also a lot of parking space in the other side of the building.

Pretty packed during lunch time. Food was great, however they should at least offer a soft drink refill for specialty drinks…. Paying $6 a drink and no refill?
