I had a great time for my birthday. My waiter was nice and very helpful with choosing the right steak for my appetite. The only thing is I ask for a steak well done and they brought it out with still a little pinkish inside as I don't like eating nothing not cooked all the way. Every bite should be delicious for the price and it wasn't. Actually it wasn't even hot it was medium warm. I ask for a side order of mash potatoes and that took so long I finished my steak...

The waiter Riley was amazing and helpful. The food was really good and the view was great! They ran out of some things but Riley recommended other options that were great. I would definitely go again!!

Castaway Burbank is undeniably a beautiful space with potential. However, ambiance alone can't carry an experience...especially not when the fundamentals of service, food, and hospitality fall short. With better management oversight and a renewed focus on the guest experience, Castaway could live up to its location and aesthetic. For now, it feels more like a missed opportunity than a must-visit.
