Chubby Dumplings is a nice, clean chain restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of tables inside and out. The menu offers lots of choices, including spicy dumplings like the flavorful wontons in chili oil, which have some heat but are not excessive. Other menu items include steamed black pepper Wagyu dumplings, Wagyu noodles, Dan Dan noodles, popcorn chicken, and steamed custard bun. The Dan Dan noodles are a favorite for their flavor and creaminess. It is super easy to order through a tablet, though the establishment may be card-only. The service is good, with workers checking on guests. While the dumpling wrappers have a solid al dente chew, sometimes the food is not super hot and sauces can be forgotten. Overall, it is a recommended place to try.
