I can't believe it took me all of these years of living in the area to finally try this place. What a gem. The food is outstanding and the service is also fabulous. I highly recommend.
This is a very small quaint restaurant/bar next to I5. The food was excellent and the ambiance was very nice!! The service was really good as well! I will be frequenting Ramps in the bear future!!!

Really cool low key place directly next to the 5 freeway. Steak was pretty good, linguine & clams was also great! Service was good, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was just the vibe we needed after a hectic drive out of Burbank Airport. Definitely recommend!

Dine LA week. Got some good food and enjoy this location that's been open since 1963.

We have been eating at the Ramp for many years. It is a local place we love and a great place to meet friends for a wonderful dinner. Thanks for the prompt and friendly service, as well!!
I ordered the sole lunch special which according to the menu is accompanied by vegetables and a soft drink. The texture of the fish suggested it had been frozen and possibly defrosted too quickly. The sauce covering the fish was too salty. The vegetables were bland and unsalted. However, the small scoop of rice that accompanied the fish was quite delicious. The waiter also never brought the drink included with the meal.
It is unlikely I will return here. The prices are too high for what the offer. Based on the quality and flavor of what I ate, their prices are not justified. Unlike another person who posted an earlier review, I don’t mind the dated decor but the interior was extremely dark when first entering from outside.

The quality and taste of the food was surprisingly good! We had the DineLA menu of Cobb Salad and Filet of Sole covered with a sauce with grapes. Never thought that would taste so good, but it did. We also ordered their Garlic Cheese bread, which is addictive. We ended with a house made chocolate mousse, which was so light and airy, it melted on our tongues. We'll definitely be back to try their other Italian specialties.
The food was okay. However, the drink I ordered at the bar which was an Old Fashioned, included Sweet Vermouth!!! When I went back to the bar to let him know that it was not an Old Fashioned he actually argued with me and said that was the way they serve it. I even showed him on the internet that the drink does not include any type of Vermouth. He remade the drink for me first by muddling a couple of cherries. He almost forgot the simple syrup. Worst Old Fashioned I have ever had. Really ruined the dinner. Will never go back. I did call the restaurant & spoke with the part owner and explained to him what transpired. He said he was sorry and that he would speak to the bartender.
First timer here, our waitress was clueless and unattentive, we attended for DineLA, but chose to order off the main menu, after a couple cocktails, an appetizer and dinner to try the place out, the bill was $200 for 2 people, but we ordered low to median range entrees, so could have been far worse, only way we will go back is likely for happy hour in the barm bad first experience, but they clearly have a large clientele as the place was jam packed and got way louder during the duration of our visit
I would highly recommend this place. We was traveling from out of town and we ate dinner all three nights at this place the drinks. The food was amazing but the best part our server Stephanie made us feel so welcome and took such great care of us.
