If you are looking for good tea, or a friendly game, it's hard to beat this place. Most of the patrons will invite you to join their game or even teach you a new one if you like.
There are also fun events happening all the time.
There's a cat rescue on site, but the shop is kept clean and I didn't have a problem despite being allergic.

Everyone working here is so helpful and friendly, it’s ridiculous. Me and my buddy probably chatted this poor guys ear off for a half hour asking dumb questions and he patiently listened to our dumb asses and answered anything we wanted to know about D&D. I’ve been playing for 4 years and there’s still stuff that he was able to teach and surprise me with. Another person, explained how to break into Magic The Gathering for a half hour and explained what a Commander deck is. It was a huge help. They have themed private rooms that you can rent out to play games together and my buddy and I were cracking up laughing because we had no idea they would have something that cool there. This place is totally worth a visit.

The owner was lovely and gave us a tour around on our first visit

Easily THE best place in LA to find or host a D&D game. The space is constantly expanding, they’ve had full on Magic tournaments happening and you’d never know it from your game space.
They also have a huge selection of board games available to play with your friends whenever you like. Show up, pick a game, and play. The staff is super helpful and their stock is well priced and extensive. Their in-house $8 dice sets are some of the nicest I’ve ever seen south of $50.
Do yourself a favor and stop in, even if just to peek in at the private game rooms. This place is a treasure.

I always love coming here. The vibe is awesome. Have a wide selection of products to buy and games to play. Love the cats. They are almost always out of pokemon, but that's most likely the scalpers fault. I always have a great time when I come here!

What a great store, great selection of merchandise from many genres. Friendly staff. I'll visit again when I'm back in town.

It’s actually geeky. The teas are the best. Play camel up and thank me later. Or now.

Fantastic game store. Large, many rooms with fun themes, big game selection, reasonably priced. Massive table top miniatures room with 16 tables and outstanding decor. Highly recommend.

Stopped in before a meeting with some friends, and I didn’t realize we’d meet such nice people! They have cats, but can only meet them if you volunteer so one of the people working brought out two of the house cats and I was able to pet them! I was also given some free tea which was super delicious and absolutely so kind!

Large selection of games for rent or to purchase. Kitty room, themed rooms, helpful staff and just $5 per person to play board games.

Wow, this is such a cool place. I am not a gamer, but I can appreciate gaming and all of its nuances, and this is a very special space---it's affordable. It's accessible. There is tons of parking. The vibes are good--this is the type of place that keeps vulnerable people safe. My husband and I organized a day of gaming and a dinner for our good friend's birthday; he and his wife are avid gamers. We drove up from Orange County and we are really glad that we were able to spend quality time here. It's such a cool and welcoming store, the staff were all so kind and sweet and helpful, and the game rooms are fantastic. I really think that anyone who wants to game should check it out. Five dollars gets anyone daylong access to a huge library of games, and I love the theme rooms. I don't think I got to see all of them, but from what I did see, there was something really cute and Bridgerton themed, a cat room, a Disney room, a giant and super awesome Battletech/Warhammer space, and several others. We were a foursome, and we did not have a reservation, but that was OK, because one of the staff were able to find us room at a communal table. We spent several hours playing a variety of games, and then left to go get some dinner at Porto's nearby, and then we came back until 10:30 PM. We were surprised and delighted that our table was reserved with a sign. Over the course of many hours, we bought snacks, candles, tea, and ended up purchasing a couple of games. We loved seeing Mr. President wander around, and the closed off/private area for kitties waiting to be adopted was super precious. We saw folks from all backgrounds here, enjoying themselves. I don't believe the owners were there that day. But, they have done a marvelous job at creating an amazing place. It was gorgeous. It was clean, it was inclusive. We look forward to coming back, we hope that maybe there are plans for a coffee shop or café or something next door.
