Delicious wet tacos. A good bike rack across the street, in a parallel passageway.
This is some gentrified taco food
This is a different taco place than what you may be accustomed to. Here they serve tacos with fillings that are much more humid and juicy than you average taco stand. They serve tacos with Tinga and Cochinita Pibil among other things, but the base is that they are all served with fillings that have been cooking for a looong time! They also have vegetarian options. I gotta say the food is a little pricey for my taste. 4 tacos, 2 drinks, and a tostada were 33$
The food is good but I wish they were more vegetarian options
The food is great! My only problem with taco sampler plate is what I can't remember which ones I liked the best and order more of them😂
Great tacos. Tortillas are made well. A little pricy for what you get
Ordered two frozen chicken tamales on the phone. No problem. Go there, reiterate I do not want them heated. Explains to the cook. Three times. Pretty sure he gets it. Walk back home. They are heated. Call them back. 'So sorry.''Can you send me cold ones and take these back?' 'We do not have delivery.' 'If I walk back (it's a 10 minute walk) will you change them and give me my money back for the inconvenience?' 'Yes' 'You sure?' 'Yes'. Walk back. Changes them. Looks at me. 'And the money?' 'So sorry, I cannot.' 'But you told me you can. And that is why I came back.' 'So sorry, I cannot'. Line forming behind me. No desire to create a scene but:'Can I talk to the manager'. 'He is not here.' 'When we he be in?' '4o'clock. It's noon now. I have no intention of walking back at 4 to get my money back. Take it as a bad experience. And worse still, because I like their food. But obviously I will not be going back there anytime soon. West Hollywood branch.
Great variety of tacos! Their sampler plate is a great call. I also tried their cochinita pibil taco with max spiciness and, fellow adventurers, I wouldn’t recommend taking it lightly. It does get very spicy.
The tacos here were top tier. It's rare that the tortilla and the meat are both on point at a restaurant. But Guisados knows what they're doing. Their whole menu is delicious. Can't wait to come back.

I like the traditional tacos. This is different, but not bad at all.

Get out of the breakfast burrito business if you are going to create these burritos as your options. Watery eggs, no taste. Poor excuse for a breakfast burrito.

I’ve been eating at Guisados for years. I started eating at the one in Sunset in Echo Park and loved it.
I’ve eaten now twice at the Burbank location and it’s fairly tasty food without the soul it used to have. The employees at Sunset were into what they were doing and I could taste it. Burbank lacks this. This is now a pretty big chain, did they forget where they started? Is much of the food now made in commissary and not on location? In any event it’s a pity. Judging by how empty it was I’m not the only one.

Really liked the Chicharron taco in green sauce with handmade tortillas. Not a fan of cheese tamales and the Bistec tacos... would definitely return to taste the rest. Only issue is the parking.
