Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

All the bad reviews are true, this place is terrible, just because you put chicken between bread doesn’t make it a sandwich. Chewy ass rubber chicken. Coleslaw sucked. Wait time also terrible, don’t understand why it takes so long to bring that mediocre chicken. It took everything in me not to ask them what world they were famous in, because it definitely isn’t this one. DO NOT, come here. I have no idea how it has so many positive reviews. It is not a hot chicken spot, no seasoning, no flavor, no spice. The TV inside was showing an ad for Dave’s Hot Chicken, I should’ve taken as a sign to go there instead. Never again.

I have enjoyed the chicken - and especially the fried okra - at this establishment for some time. Some days, I'll order some fried chicken and enjoy not going out. But this is the smallest chicken breast strips I have ever seen, and...I have to say, Gus might have lost me as a customer with this.

For the first time I went to buy this restaurant since I started buying. The attitude of the Cashier was detestable, bad service, I asked for an order and the Cashier did not tell me if I wanted it to go or eat in the restaurant and the female waitress also in an ugly way told me that I could not eat in this place just for ordering to go anyway I am consuming I will never return to this place disgusting I even lost my desire to eat and that's why I even left.

I had it at my cousins house since she is 5 minutes away from it but oh my goodness so tender so delicious lots of flavor. It was so amazing & feels homemade. Mac n cheese and baked beans are so delicious & flavorful. They don't skimp out.

Food was good. Loved the fried green tomatoes chicken and Mac n cheese. The ranch was good also. The potato salad is a lil sweet. Needs pickles and onion imo. The sweet tea is delicious also. Waitress and cashier are very nice and welcomed me as soon as I was in the door. Portions were good and they gave me a souvenir cup to go. Will be back.

One of the most flavorful fried chicken I ever had I love their coleslaw and potato salad I wish I had taken a picture but I was to excited to start eating ? the waiter was also really friendly!
