Usually go to the Santa Ana location. However they changed staff and my favorite waitress is no longer there. Everyone seems to have an attitude at that location so My daughters and I decided to drive a little further and Go to this Burbank location. They did not disappoint. The food was a little more tastier, especially the coleslaw, the atmosphere was normal, But... I'd like to give a Big shout out to our server Jackie or Jacky( I hope i spelled it right) but she was Awesome. Very attentive, very nice and down to earth. Hope the next time we visit she'll be there.

I’m originally from the city where Gus’s began, so I was excited to finally try this LA location now that I’m recovering from surgery and had some time. Unfortunately, my experience over the past two days—especially with Catalina—was really disappointing.

I placed a delivery order that cost around $50, and when the food arrived, the chicken was raw. When I called, Catalina only offered to replace one piece of chicken, which felt dismissive and completely inadequate given the situation. I wasn’t looking for a refund—I just wanted the issue taken seriously. Instead, she kept talking over me, which flared up my anxiety. It was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that undercooked chicken poses a health risk.

Thankfully, Michael stepped in and immediately handled it with care and professionalism. I truly appreciated how quickly he worked to resolve things. Whoever manages Michael should know he’s a strong problem solver and a stark contrast to the poor attitude I experienced with Catalina.

Despite this, I’ll say the food is genuinely good when it’s prepared right. This was my first bad experience with Gus’s, and I hope it’s just a one-off.

This spot is a classic you can never go wrong with Gus’s fried chicken the chicken is so good and their quality is always consistent
. It is a little bit pricey compared to Popeyes/KFC but it’s worth it.

A day ago my family and I went to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. They were extremely nice to us, as it was our first time there. I got a 3 piece dark chicken meal (which came with 2 thighs, a leg, baked beans, and coleslaw) and I was not disappointed. The chicken were delicious, so good they could be world famous. The beans were the best baked beans I had ever had. The only thing I didn't like was the coleslaw, which was a bit lackluster. On the menu you can get both white meat or dark meat chicken, in case you prefer one over the other. Overall, Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is one of the best fried chicken places I have ever been to.

I walked in and the sign stated to sit at a clean table and service was going to be there for the order. So, I sat down with no one paying attention to me. Waiter and waitress are walking around and not going to my table. I got up and walked out. The food was too expensive for what? Two pieces of dark meat chicken and small sides of baked beans and coleslaw..$18.

Consistently juicy, delicious fried chicken. The strips are tasty but usually a tad dryer than the bone-in pieces. Be prepared for a delightful, spicy heat to the chicken. Fried pickles are whole spears, which is my preferred type of fried pickle.

Horrible service! Was our first time at this place. Sat down ordered and then the server was asking us to move tables, when there were so many other tables open. We felt like there was some prejudice going on here.
