Service was great! Meal disgusting! The fried chicken is NOT, I repeat NOT fried chicken like you would expect! Trust me on this! The greens were good! The macaroni & cheese looked good, but I didn't order any! I think the reason I was so disappointed, is because of the prices they are charging for the meals. A family of four (easily more than $125, and it's not fine dining). I don't know about you, but my 1st time was my last time!

Great chicken wings and sweet tea on the west coast. Mac & cheese is very good as well.
The tenders were great. There was a server that connected with me over my loungefly and took the time to talk to me I enjoyed the interaction she was so sweet.
Comparing this one to the one on Pico/Crenshaw, parking is much much easier and closer to the freeway. The chicken indeed seemed a ted less spicy hot but all the favors are there. (Went to Crenshaw 2 days later and clearly able to compare) As usual, ordered the biggest 20 piece dinning in and it was hot and juicy, especially the breast. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. They gave me forks every time but I had never used them. Go wash hands and get dirty!

It's hard to find better authentic Tennessee fried chicken anywhere. Their mac and cheese and greens are my go-to sides. Be sure to experience a piece of chess pie for dessert. You won't regret it. I stop here every time I'm in the Burbank area. Love this place.

The chicken was edible and spicy, but everyone to their own.The place is an okay and the environment is kinda friendly.The Waitress Lhean was rude with her actions after she assumed that because I asked her for the cheaper prices that maybe we didn't have enough money. It wasn't about the money it was about my family and I not wating to waste food. When she brought the food she even brought an extra free drum and an extra plate why? Because she assumed we didn't have enough food for all of our children.So offensive.Our bill came up to 68 dollars, and some change. I ended up leaving two 50 dollar bills on the table. The waitress took the bill and the money. She took it over to the register. She had the other co-worker check the 50 dollar bills ,what a humiliation.It wasn't until she saw us walking out the door that she realized we didnt need the change back and that she can keep the tip.It was sad to see her expression changed for a thirty one dollars and some change.So despicable.People need to be more humble and not assume anything because no one knows the way of people's way of living.

The best fried chicken ever! Moist, not greasy. Crisp and just enough spice. Great side dishes like Mac and cheese, greens, beans, etc. So glad they opened locally, don’t have to go all the way to Memphis to find it now.

We had our first at Memphis when we drove through Tenessee. My wife and I didn’t expect to see one in LA.Crispy chicken outside and juicy inside. These are made fresh as you order so make sure you have the patience to wait.Wife ordered 3 wings but was given a different one, but they have us keep it while they prepare the actual order. Going the extra mile!Staff are also diverse, which is good!❤️
