Stumbled into Inkwell Tavern last night and wow the old-fashioned cocktails are dangerously good plus the bartender threw in some epic stories with every pour definitely my new go-to spot for a chill hangout.

Where has this gem been???? This place has great ambiance (not insanely crowded, you’ll be able to find a seat OK), the food is amazing (get the Brie!), and the service is attentive. The owner (or I’m assuming he was the owner) clearly cares about how well this place is run, and that guests feel welcome. Probably best for singles, couples, and small groups of 3-4. (Also within easy walking distance of the Springhill Suites, if you happen to be staying there and don’t want to go to (yet another) corporate establishment.)

My wife and I had our wedding reception here. From helping with preparation by being available and quick with answers to the day of the reception go so smooth. The bartenders were so helpful and great as bartenders. The foooood was sooooo gooood (get the twice fried wings). I can’t say enough positive stuff about Inkwell Tavern!

The Inkwell Tavern is a medium sized bar with a spacious floor plan. The bar was long and along one side with comfortable booths on the other side. The drinks were high quality and the prices were reasonable. In addition they offer a $2 off for happy hour drinks. The service was quick and the staff was professional. The only drawback is there is no parking.
Parking: No parking. Not sure where to park. We parked in a reserved space next door.

I checked this bar out early on a Friday during happy hour. If you’re a lover of books, you’ll love both the decor, and references to literature throughout the menu. They had a great cocktail menu with some classics, as well as signature creations. I forget the name of the 2 cocktails that I ordered, but both were very well balanced and delicious, they were also very fairly priced. If you love high end spirits, they have a well curated selection on their back bar. Their drinks menu also included some great looking nonalcoholic options, which I think is so important to create an inclusive environment for all patrons. On the food side, I ordered the smash burger with herb fries (as a big fan of thyme, these were killer). The burger itself was tasty, my one note is that the bun seemed a little overly toasted, bordering on burnt. I loved the thoughtfulness of serving the fries in a metal cup, so as to keep them nice and hot while I enjoyed my burger. The service staff were all incredibly welcoming, and professional, and the vibes I gathered were “very knowledgeable, yet unpretentious”. I’ll probably be in there on Sunday to watch football, as I saw they open at 10 and show games, which I’m very excited about.
Parking: I ended up parking in a shopping center lot across the way, street parking near the restaurant was sparse.

My ABSOLUTE favorite bar ever!! The bartenders are fantastic, the wings are the best I've ever sad, and every time we've gone-- the drinks have been top notch! I highly recommend happy hour and whiskey Wednesday!
Parking: Parking in the lot may be limited but there's tons of parking around including the street and multiple shopping plazas around.
