Came here for lunch after my fiancé's graduation and the ramen could use some work. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and the broth was nice but the noodles and chicken were very meh. The california rolls were okay and the mixed tempura could use some seasoning.
I came here on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. I usually like coming here because the food and the service is usually pretty good. This time, the service was just alright, the food was barely there and did not look very appetizing, and the restroom was in desperate need of attention (The larger stall in the women's room was completely out of toilet paper and dirty). This visit was a bit disappointing!
My wife and I came for the happy hour and really enjoyed it. And using their happy hour, we wonder why people go to buffet restaurants. I am a big eater - and I was well fed with a bill - after taxes and before tipp of $54 for the two of us. Including two beers.
Of course, it is not the Nobu - but I bet you agree that is not what one would expect from this place. The service was good - and the ambiance a tad worn. I guess I'd rather dine at the Pasadena location - just because...
