My wife and I came for the happy hour and really enjoyed it. And using their happy hour, we wonder why people go to buffet restaurants. I am a big eater - and I was well fed with a bill - after taxes and before tipp of $54 for the two of us. Including two beers.
Of course, it is not the Nobu - but I bet you agree that is not what one would expect from this place. The service was good - and the ambiance a tad worn. I guess I'd rather dine at the Pasadena location - just because...
Kabuki was great. The sushi was well made and delicious. I found myself wanting more from the interior design and service, but considering the location I guess it’s more of a “satisfy the masses” kind of place rather than a curated and carefully crafted experience.
Had a nice visit with family here. The service was very nice, the food was ok, and the ambiance a bit loud. But, it is a nice restaurant in downtown town Burbank so what would you expect.
All in all it was ok. I didn’t finish my food, gave it away and couldn’t eat. I wish they offered or had more veggies with your order on the menu instead all meet. That actually comes with the food. My mistake - should have asked and forgot.
