I have to write this because I don't want others to be treated so poorly.
My party was constantly ignored for 10-15 minutes until one of us was able to flag a server down. We didn't even get drink orders until then. Once we got our food, it was clear our server was ignoring us: not asking how the food was, not refilling anyone's water, nothing. I will not return to this location for the service alone. It felt discriminatory for no reason. If they didn't want us there, they could've turned us away before we waited over 15 minutes (when the wait time was under that and they seated parties that arrived after us) to even get a table.
The only positive I have for this experience is that the food arrived quickly and it was ok.
I do not recommend this place due to the poor, unfriendly service.
Edit: important to note that we came here for a friend's birthday and this was absolutely not the experience we anticipated for them. All the waiting took time away from other plans we had for them.

We got rejected for seating 1 hr prior to closing…. We noticed a family walk in after my boyfriend and I and they got seated. The Armenian waiter was fast to say “take out only” as a proud Latina I took offense once the family after me got seated. Especially in these tough times. I never felt so discriminated, the Asian manager said seat them!! I decided to not eat there I told the rude waiter, went around the corner and had A Better Deal and food was Delicious!!

Visited this restaurant multiple times, both for dine-in service and take out. They consistently deliver decent quality food, though the service isn’t always the best. The last few servers I’ve had did the absolute minimum and weren’t hospitable, but they got the job done. Be aware that there is a sign-in stand near the door, not at the hostess stand, and you will be skipped if you don’t fill it out. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoy the enclosed booths on the sides for intimate meals with others.

My wife and I came here to this Kopan Sushi and Ramen spot because we were craving some ramen noodles. We got seated within ten minutes when they weren't that busy. We started off with the spicy edamame which was good. We both order the Tonkotsu ramen and added chicken. My wife added the mushroom to her ramen bowl but didn't like the taste of the mushroom. Our waiter was slow with providing service but we still enjoy our dining experience.

This is a bigger version of the Kopan over in Glendale. They both have an amazing cultural feel inside and the smell of the wood within the facility mixed with sushi gives it a boost of ambience tied along with that classic look.

I do highly recommend this location for a great sushi experience. Alone or with friends. This is truly a 5 star sushi location.

Brutal. Didn’t even make an order. Rude hostess who then turned to be my server. Super rude again and then I’d had it. I walked out…… If you are gonna spend money on sushi and the prices for sushi this is not the place. The place is not “that cool” to have the attitude they have. Even if the food is decent (not sure it is) it’s not worth the crappy attitude from the servers. Makes for an unpleasant dinner. Move on
