Lunch specials are the way to go. Not crowded. Tonkotsu was good, not great. Hamburger steak add on is a salisbury steak. Also good, not great. I’d go back.

My friends and I visited Copan for a late lunch on a Wednesday, and we had a wonderful experience. The service and atmosphere make this a spot I would happily return to!
The Highlights (The Great)
Exceptional Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had two people checking on us—a dedicated server and another filling water—and they were all fantastic. We were seated right away with no wait.
Wonderful Ambiance: The restaurant has a beautiful, well-thought-out, Japan-focused decor that creates a great environment for a meal.
Menu & Clarity: I loved the menu! It was clearly organized with pictures for every item, which made ordering very easy and eliminated any guesswork. They offer a great range of options, including large sushi selection and both spicy and non-spicy ramen options.
The Food We Loved: We tried three different ramens (one spicy, one non-spicy, and the Vegetable Ramen, which was excellent). The Jalapeño Bomb side was also a great flavor addition. Everything was filling, delicious, and satisfying.
Areas for Improvement (The Quibbles)
Seating Arrangement: My biggest critique is that the tables are positioned a bit too close together. We could clearly hear neighboring conversations, and unfortunately, a couple near us even seemed bothered by our chat.
Dynamite Roll/Side: We were not fans of the Dynamite dish (shrimp, cheese, rice, and onions). It was a strange combination and we ended up not finishing it.
Limited Drinks/Desserts: They did not offer non-alcoholic beer, and the dessert selection was very limited (only cheesecake available). (This wasn't a big deal for me, but something to note for others.)
Final Thoughts
We had a great time, and the quality of the ramen and the wonderful staff made the $80–90 meal well worth it for three people. We plan to return very soon to try their extensive sushi selection!
Highly recommend for the great service and atmosphere!

This was such a great experience. We were looking for a place to eat and chose this spot, and I’m so glad we did. They seated us right away with no wait at all, and we got an extremely cute Japanese themed booth that felt super private and comfortable.
The menu was impressive with tons of options everything from sushi to ramen to hot pot. We both ordered ramen, and it came out in about five minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious! It was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying.
Overall, this place is awesome. Between the atmosphere, the quick service, and the tasty food, it’s easily a 5-star spot for me. Highly recommend if you’re in Burbank!

It was a first and a last time to this restaurant. There was a FLY 🪰 in the ramen as it came! When I notified them, the kitchen said the fly must have flown in my ramen. As you can see, the fly was half wing embedded in the soup and I didn’t want to make a scene but they were trying to charge it full and blame the reason on the customer, that’s not the right attitude for a food safety issue! They were just like we are popular so we don’t care……… 🤷 when I ask should I pay for a fly ramen they said we don’t accommodate things like this the maximum we can do it’s a half price…… 🙂↔️

Came in with no expectations and was blown away. The ramen was fantastic—creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. Noodles were cooked just right, with a nice al dente bite. Service was excellent throughout. Easy to recommend and definitely worth a return visit.

I think new management. We've been going here for years. Something's wrong. They were out of a lot of fish. Out of most sake. Staff didn't know anything about Japanese cuisine. Talked to management, they didn't really have any answers and wouldn't comp us for the wrong sake. They really used to care. Didn't know what happened. Sad. Because it was cute and had great food for years.
