I stopped in on a rainy afternoon and placed my order at 1:15 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn’t informed when my food was ready, and it ended up sitting there without me realizing. It would have been nice if someone had let me know. Clear communication would have made the experience much better.

Ramen was served in the speed of light, very impressive service on top of very friendly service. Vibes of old japan ✨️ added to the esthetic 🫶 very pleasing to observe and consume Ramen. Everything combined is what you ask for on a Japanese themed Ramen place.

We came in for lunch on a Wednesday around 11:55am. There were a few parties already seated but there was no one in the front to seat us. One of us had to go in the dining area to look for someone to get us situated. After we had there was only 2 plate settings and it wasnt until the food started coming out that I had to ask for another one. It looks about 5 minutes for our server to come greet us though the place was 75% vacant when we got there. We ordere the lunch specials but this was one of the most expensive lunch specials I've ever seen, I paid $26.00 in the end. I also felt like the lunch emu was a bit confusing as I only wanted the ramen but our server made it seem like we had to order a side which ended up being $4.00 more per person. My friend and I ordered the Kuro mayo with garlic string beans , and I'm other friend ordered the tonkotsu with spicy tuna. Honestly the spicy tuna was a great deal for $4 for an 8 piece roll, but while the garclid green beans were phenomenal, I found it ridiculous to have paid $4 for the amount of beans we got. I gave this 3 start because the food was really good, but the prices and service were the reason I didn't give this place more stars. I do absolutely love the theming, I feel like the decor and ambiance matches the streets of Tokyo, so the vibe is very on point!

They have a huge menu. Their izakaya theme is pretty spot on from previous trips to Japan. I ordered the veggie croquettes, ramen, and a lemon highball. The croquette was tasty but arrived at the table lukewarm. The ramen was much better. The highball was the best.

Nice decoration attempting to capture Japanese architecture. Service was not great. We were quickly seated but then no staff talked to us, it took calling them as they walked past us. Not a lot of polite address while ordering or getting food-- the best was the person who took our payment. As for the food: had tonkotsu ramen; the broth was good, I can commend that. The noodles were nothing to talk about, and the chashu was closer to American roast beef than chashu. It was all good, but as a whole was middle of the road...

Very good food. I liked the bento box. You choose from 2 or 3 items and that way you get to try a bit of multiple items.
The place is nice loe light and not loud so you can have conversations.
Good experience.

Lunch specials are the way to go. Not crowded. Tonkotsu was good, not great. Hamburger steak add on is a salisbury steak. Also good, not great. I’d go back.

My friends and I visited Copan for a late lunch on a Wednesday, and we had a wonderful experience. The service and atmosphere make this a spot I would happily return to!
The Highlights (The Great)
Exceptional Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had two people checking on us—a dedicated server and another filling water—and they were all fantastic. We were seated right away with no wait.
Wonderful Ambiance: The restaurant has a beautiful, well-thought-out, Japan-focused decor that creates a great environment for a meal.
Menu & Clarity: I loved the menu! It was clearly organized with pictures for every item, which made ordering very easy and eliminated any guesswork. They offer a great range of options, including large sushi selection and both spicy and non-spicy ramen options.
The Food We Loved: We tried three different ramens (one spicy, one non-spicy, and the Vegetable Ramen, which was excellent). The Jalapeño Bomb side was also a great flavor addition. Everything was filling, delicious, and satisfying.
Areas for Improvement (The Quibbles)
Seating Arrangement: My biggest critique is that the tables are positioned a bit too close together. We could clearly hear neighboring conversations, and unfortunately, a couple near us even seemed bothered by our chat.
Dynamite Roll/Side: We were not fans of the Dynamite dish (shrimp, cheese, rice, and onions). It was a strange combination and we ended up not finishing it.
Limited Drinks/Desserts: They did not offer non-alcoholic beer, and the dessert selection was very limited (only cheesecake available). (This wasn't a big deal for me, but something to note for others.)
Final Thoughts
We had a great time, and the quality of the ramen and the wonderful staff made the $80–90 meal well worth it for three people. We plan to return very soon to try their extensive sushi selection!
Highly recommend for the great service and atmosphere!

This was such a great experience. We were looking for a place to eat and chose this spot, and I’m so glad we did. They seated us right away with no wait at all, and we got an extremely cute Japanese themed booth that felt super private and comfortable.
The menu was impressive with tons of options everything from sushi to ramen to hot pot. We both ordered ramen, and it came out in about five minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious! It was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying.
Overall, this place is awesome. Between the atmosphere, the quick service, and the tasty food, it’s easily a 5-star spot for me. Highly recommend if you’re in Burbank!
