We were suggested by our house host to try this place out, a classic American dining place.

The decoration was just like the movies (btw I’m from Malaysia), a long breakfast table & those fluffy American dining sofa / so comfy!

Majority of the dinners comes are elderly, I’m guessing this would be the all time best as the servers do know most of them by names.. there are families and friends gathering there too.. i was there early about 6pm on a Friday and there was no wait to get a table.

I ordered the Prime ribs, medium rare (cooked perfectly as I like it) and it comes with 3 side to choose.. i took the fries (crispy on the outside and soft inside), a chicken tortilla soup(served with avocado too!) and a salad (the blue cheese dress is so good). Food was served quite fast..

OMG the food just hit the taste buds of mine! Everything tasted so good and no regrets! Nothing to be said but you JUST HAVE TO TRY IT YOURSELF!! Service was great and welcoming..

Highly recommended for anyone passing by the area.. and if i have time, I would try to drop by again for sure!

Sundays are busy, I ordered bacon and received sausage, but it's ok, I understand mistakes can occur. Overall is a nice place.

Disgusting Dining Experience at Lancers
I recently had a truly horrifying dining experience at Lancers in Burbank. While the food had been decent in the past, my most recent visit was utterly ruined by the discovery of a cockroach on my plate.
I was halfway through my meal when I noticed a small, dark creature scurrying across my plate. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was a cockroach. I was immediately nauseated and shocked. I called over a waiter, who was visibly distressed by the situation.
While the staff did apologize and offer to replace my meal, the damage had already been done. The thought of eating anything from that restaurant again was simply unthinkable. I left feeling disgusted and violated.
I hope that the restaurant will take this incident seriously and take immediate steps to address the issue of pests in their establishment. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone until they can guarantee a safe and sanitary dining experience.

This place has ROACHES!

I went with my family to get dinner close to closing time, and the waitress was very kind to let us in and serve us. We already knew what we wanted and we were quick. I’ll be honest and say, I never liked Lancers before, but my parents kept raving about the new ownership and how the food is much better, so on my trip home they took us.

Not only was the food mediocre, but we literally saw roaches crawling on the overhead by the kitchen. Apparently they were “closing early for renovations,” which was just a cover up to say they were bringing in a pest control company.

Let me be clear, any establishment that has a bug or rodent infestation should NOT be serving food, and this place should have closed when this issue happened and not re-opened until it was deemed safe. It was revolting, and I will never return here, nor will my family. Such a horrible thing to experience.

Family restaurant near downtown Burbank. Great place for burgers, sandwiches, and other menu favorites. Had the Reuben sandwich my personal favorite.

I haven’t been here in years(I live in norcal, so that’s why) but this was my grandfather’s absolute favorite place to eat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was always Lancer’s for him. For as long I could remember, twice a year driving down with my family to see him, he’d come for breakfast by himself most morning but we’d accompany him for lunch & dinner. The staff always treated us with such kindness & love and all recognized him when he frequented here. I miss him so much and I hope to come down again sometime to eat at Lancer’s once more. Thank you for taking care of my grandpa for all of these years and making sure he stayed fed?

I recently dined at Lancers Family Restaurant and had an exceptional experience! Vitaly, our server, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff was equally fantastic, providing excellent service with a smile. The food was awesome, with delicious flavors and generous portions. I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!

Breakfast was lousy for the price, however my Mother and family been coming here for years for the famous Prime ribs and huge salads . I'm just saying I won't be coming here for breakfast anytime soon.

It had been a long time since I visited Lancers.
Food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was great. The food is your traditional diner style. We had the chicken and waffles. Chicken perfectly cooked and seasoned. Waffle was fluffy and buttery. We also had the breakfast burrito! It can feel 2 or a very hungry 1. Last, the omelet I customized with the ingredients being fresh and delicious.
