I stopped by Larry’s Chili Dog right before they were closing at 3pm, and even though they were wrapping up for the day, they still took care of me without hesitation. That alone says a lot about a business.
The cashier made genuine conversation and made me feel like a valued customer, not like I was inconveniencing them right before closing. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted and was patient and welcoming. As a first-time customer, that kind of service makes a big impression.
Now let’s talk about the food.
The chili dog was cooked to order. The bun was warm, light, and fluffy. The chili had great flavor with the perfect balance of seasoning. The hot dog itself was snappy and juicy exactly how a good chili dog should be.
The food smelled so good I had to dig in before any pictures were taken.
I’ll be honest. I rate this higher than Tommy's Burgers. That says something.
This was my first time here, but it definitely will not be my last. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

I'm a huge fan of a good chili dog, but their chili was kind of bland. Great service. Will go back and try other menu items.

Very good breakfast burrito. Got the steak and egg. A little pricey, but seems like everything is in LA. Want to try some of their hot dogs next time.

I ordered a chili cheese dog combo. The hot dog was fine, nothing exciting, same goes for the chili. It took a long time, about 45 minutes to order and get food. I’d recommend ordering online if you go.

I love Larry's Chili Dog. I started eating there when I was a small child. I started taking my kids there early on. It's a family favorite.

The fies were good but the chili dogs were horrible. No flavor at all and the texture was bad.

I grew up on chili dogs in the Southeast of the U.S. it’s HARD to find ones like those I enjoyed as a kid. These are GREAT!!

Larry’s Chilli Dog never disappoints if anything the expectation for their breakfast burrito is hands down one of the best around and makes other look like a joke if you know you know! Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying the owner/cook is amazing he is very professional and learns your order via face to ticket dispite not having actually met he makes sure you order is perfect. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are generous, and the salsa they serve with it ties everything together perfectly. It’s that kind of old-school, local spot that just gets it right every time and everything stays the same. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or one of their classic chili dogs, you can always count on great food and friendly service. Highly recommend anything on the menu.

No vibes but the best breakfast burritos in LA, and I won’t be swayed. Definitely order in advance if you can, and they’ll make them exactly to spec. Don’t sleep on the salsa.

Nice old school local neighbor place. Chili is similar to Tommy's.

Larry's is a grandslam when it comes to food, service, and atmosphere. It is a genuine time capsule that takes you back to the mid-century drive-ins and dines with checkered tiles, clasic Coca-Cola umbrellas, diner booths, and old Hollywood mural. They are closest Sundays and are only open until 3PM otherwise. I ordered Larry's Chili Dog and it definitely lived up to the legacy.
