We decided to try a new place, and we landed at Los Amigos Bar & Grill. The interior is what you would expect from an old "Rancho" and there is energetic music in the background but it does not disturb you ( not sure if it was because of taco Tuesday). As the name states, you can expect dishes and delicacies worthy of a bar&grill, as well as drinks. They have an extensive menu with a kids menu, happy hour menu, items a-la-carte, so you will most definitely find something you like. They greeted us with some warm Tortilla chips accompanied by a warm spicey bean salsa and a red salsa. I preferred the bean salsa, it seemed more homemade than the red one. My wife then ordered a Tortilla Soup ( very comforting and tasted homemade), I ordered the combo with 2 cheese enchiladas and a crispy taco, and my Abuelita had 2 chicken enchiladas. Everything was good but maybe the salsa Verde wasn't homemade, it was missing its spicey kick and cilantro. The inside of the chicken enchiladas needed a bit more salsa, so we got some more on the side and they were fine. Overall it's a great place for family, friends or even a date night.....oh yeah, I loved the Flan as well! They make a very firm flan which is how I prefer it, slightly stronger flavor and it would be perfect!

Parking: They have a pretty decent size parking lot across the street from the establishment, but it also gets full pretty.

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not sure about the other days, but I would not recommend a wheelchair on Tuesdays, the place is packed and wheelchair bound people would have a hard time even getting to their table. I'm glad I left my wife's wheelchair at home at that she was able to walk all the way to the table.

This place has really good food, and servers are fairly attentive to customer's checking on them frequently. Can be crowded, but that goes for the great food they have. Karaoke is played on the weekend, so have some fun and sing a song or two.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is Avaliable but can be tight maneuvering around when crowded.

I don't usually write reviews of restaurants but we just went here after a long, hot day at Universal. This hit the spot. Most of the time, Mexican food is Mexican food and it's hard to mess up. The food here is top notch and the taste is several steps above the "norm." One of the best I've been to. Great service. Even the chips are better than your standard chips. I couldn't finish my meal as the portions were substantial. The tacos were stuffed full. Try the mole enchiladas.

Parking: The parking lot is across the side street, exclusively for their customers and there were enough open spaces.

This Mexican restaurant in Burbank was an amazing find, especially given its proximity to our hotel. We enjoyed a delightful meal on the cozy patio, which was a lovely touch. Inside, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. We truly had a great dining experience here and would definitely return.

What a fantastic meal. My whole family loved their meal. The corn cake is to die for. Portions size is amazing and price is so good. I wish I lived closer and could make regular visits. Staff is also so helpful and friendly.

Guacamole was freshly made, traditionally. Carne asada tacos were tasty with plenty of meat.

I’ve been coming to Los Amigos for well over 9 years, including when there was family karaoke night, pre-covid. My family and I decided to pop in for lunch but once inside, an older server (Carlos) at the front desk was disgustingly rude, and did not greet nor attempt to place us at one of the many empty tables. He turned his head, so another female staff member scurried to greet and seat us. As she did, she asked Carlos, ¿Por qué les saludas?, which means why did you not greet them. He stood there rather confused. I understand there’s prejudice everywhere, but when you are a server, you put your ways behind you and do your job. You make sure that every customer feels welcome. Once seated, Carlos took a moment and then came to our table, but still with an uptight attitude. I decided I could not trust a meal from this establishment nor could I leave the great tips that I give, to an old rude and racist man who did not want my family and I there. It breaks my heart, because we love Los Amigos. Shame on you Carlos, for treating any customer this way. Too bad my kids had to see this type of behavior from a familiar place that we once loved.
