We learned of LOVE Catering from the website of the UCLA Mathias Botanical Gardens, where we had our wedding on Sept 6, 2025. Following my first call with Athena, she provided a proposal of a menu, 90% of which we kept, reflecting how well she listened and how easily she determined which foods would satisfy what we wished and the amounts that would be reasonable. She communicated with us promptly and easily and collaborated with several other members of the planning team including the wedding coordinator, events coordinator and tables and lighting subcontractors. Her opinions made sense, and she continued to listen well to everyone throughout the process. She was sensitive to pricing, responsive to feedback and extraordinarily flexible as well as appropriately opinionated about what made sense for the space. During the event, all staff were absolutely lovely and engaging with attendees in providing the highest level of interested service. I would imagine that we were a challenging space, in the Botanical Gardens, and we heard nothing but agreeable problem solving during the entire process. I am a tough grader, and I would give my experience with LOVE Catering an A plus and I cannot recommend them more highly.
