Awesome service and great goodies!

I have been a fan and regular at Martino’s - enjoying cakes and cupcakes over the past 20 years. This morning I was excited to purchase cupcakes for a lunch with some old friends. I selected a variety, but was sadly disappointed because they tasted stale and dry. I’m not sure what happened.

When I went to check out, I asked the nice lady if they were fresh and baked ‘today’. She responded by saying yes, they were made last night. I beg to differ- I think they should have been on the day old rack.

$50 for cupcakes that I will end up throwing away.

I've been enjoying the teacakes from Martino's since I was in middle school. They used to be at another location. When they reopened, I was worried that they may have messed with the recipe. Same wonderful bite that takes me back every time! I highly recommend. Their pies are also famous for a reason.

I heard about this place and it's tea cakes from my colleague. He once let me have one, and I was impressed, so on Feb 22nd, I drove from Riverside County just to come and get him a dozen box of Original Tea Cakes as his birthday surprise. I also ordered myself a Blueberry Tea Cake, Cheesecake Round, and Iced Latte. Then, I decided to get a few more little sweets to bring my nephew, niece, and sister. There were about three customers in front of me and then more people started to arrive after me. It shows this place is popular and I really liked they have tables & chairs outside and inside the establishment. If I ever go again, I want to try the Croissants and other flavored tea cakes. The three employees that day were friendly and helpful to everyone. I also want to say the restroom was clean, and I was able to use it before I got back on the long drive. Thank you for the good experience. 🫠🙏🏽

When I was a kid a small donut truck would drive down my street selling donuts and the tea cakes found in Martino's. I suspect that the small truck was from Martino's because the tea cakes taste the same. Delicious, moist, not overly sweet and a unique flavor all it's own. Every time I eat one it brings back pleasant childhood memories. I remember, they used to cost 30 cents! Not anymore😂

Best tea cakes ever! I have been buying them since they were on Victory and Alameda. :)

Just bought the teacake cake for a bridal shower and added my twist - sparkle and roses

1) Food: Delicious food! I highly recommend the original tea cakes.
2) Service: NOT great. I bought the 12 pre-pack of original tea cakes, and they didn't even bother to check it before giving it to me. When I opened the box later, I discovered that it contained only 11 tea cakes. 😠 While they typically don't make mistakes like this, they REALLY should improve their staff's training so that this doesn't happen again.
3) Atmosphere: A little awkward. There's no music playing, making the vibe weird. There usually aren't a lot of customers either, so the staff kind of stare at you while you make your choice.

I live out of State and took a chance (based on internet reviews) and ordered a cake to have for a special occasion while visiting Glendale/Burbank. I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was not only beautiful and exactly as I ordered it, but incredibly delicious. Exceptionally flavorful and moist cake with wonderful creamy icing, perfect consistency. Thank you Martino’s!

I don't comment often, but this ice cream costs $8.75. Crazy. Tea cakes are good though.

I bought the coffee tea cakes the other day. I wish I had only purchased a single item. I also bought a box of the original tea cakes with the same dilemma. Never thought I would be having a hard time finding people to eat these tea cakes. I had to bring them to the office, hoping someone would take a chance so my money wouldn't be completely wasted. If they were a 1$, I would say fair but with the money I spent I think I got bamboozled
