Great food! I ordered the asada plate which came with rice, beans and cheese wrapped in a nopal. I ordered an horchata but was given a strawberry for haha instead. This is what I call a happy accident! I have never had a strawberry orchard but it was phenomenal! Happy I finally got to try MexCocina!

On our way to the airport with my daughters, we stumbled upon this small restaurant. Despite it being packed, the staff found us a seat right away. We ordered fish tacos and beef tacos, and wow--they were incredible! If you're in the area, you absolutely have to stop by. The staff was super friendly, the manager was genuinely caring, and the lively Spanish music added such a great vibe!

Walking into this restaurant, I immediately sensed that we were in for a family experience! That was exactly what it was! We enjoyed every bit of it, had a lovely and delicious meal with a very nice ambience. The service was exquisite, with an extensive menu, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu was very large and it served all day. Our server checked on us at least four times. Also it's a small restaurant, so you're not gonna disappear into the shadows; my Carne Asada was delicious, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The cactus was also equally delicious with a lovely sauce. Everything was so good, a very blessed experience. We forgot an item at the table and they followed us all the way out to the parking lot to give it to us! So sweet! They even let me practice my Spanish and we're very courteous.

Awesome little gem that Gemini found for us in our trip to Universal. This restaurant isn't large and fanciest, but very well kept, food is amazing and best of all service is great. Portions are generous. Taste was great. Our waiter was very polite, took into consideration our dietary restrictions (vegetarian), and made appropriate adjustments to dishes to meet our needs (e.g. not just eliminate meat to make it vegetarian but replace it with veggies and cheese to our liking). Tasted a unique new flavour of Agua fresca, so that was nice :) Price was very reasonable for quality/portions/service. 100% recommend that you visit this place.

Have been here at least once every quarter. Typically the food is good, pancakes, chilaquiles, taquitos... This weekend ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo but it had no flavor whatsoever.
Small restaurant, but HUGE flavor regarding the eats. Had a cheese quesadilla (simple) and my son went an Asada burrito. Both were tasty. Arnold Palmer, according to my son, was delicious! Sidewalk seating, street parking w a small lot, too. Menu is GIGANTIC! Try the Cafe de Olla! Tasty! 👍

This place is ok, have been there several time...the las few visits haven't been that great . Firts time we were eating the server came just dropped the check, was not busy at all . Second time ask for 2 coffees, both mugs were dirty , one with lipstick, one all the inside was so dark ,I could see the last customer coffee line .And also dropped the check before we finish . Food is ok not coming back. Cafe de olla better.!

We don’t usually leave reviews but this place definitely deserves it!!! The service here was outstanding!!! Everyone was attentive to anything we needed. Usually at other restaurants if you ask a different server for something they just say “I’ll let your server know” not here! Everyone was so kind and helpful! The food was great! We had the chilaquiles in green and suiza sauce! I also got a green chicken enchilada and it was all very good and authentic!!! The cafe de olla was on point as well!!! Great place we will for sure be back whenever we are near Burbank!!!
