We chose this hotel because of its location to Universal Studios. The room was nice, breakfast was good and the outdoor area(fire pit and pool) was great. The good time we had around the fire pit saved the stay. Within 6 hours of parking the rental car in the hotel lot all four tires and rims were stolen. We walked to have dinner at a nearby restaurant and were notified when we got back by the front desk of the theft. The response from Marriott is it’s posted that they are not responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle in their lot that they are charging you $25 a night to park in. They don’t even have cameras in the lot. The hotel is in easy walking distance to great shopping and loads of restaurants. If you don’t have to use the parking lot you will enjoy your stay. We didn’t get to go to Universal because the park was sold out and since we no longer had a car we had the time to really enjoy Burbank. Today I received a letter from Marriott reminding me that they are not responsible and a bill from the Ace Rent A Car LAX for $7, 890. for four tires and rims. I don’t think I will ever go back to L.A.

We were in town to see a show a the Greek theater and stayed here. I requested an early check in and was told it was ok but it was not even ready by 430 after the guaranteed check in time. I asked for an ADA bathroom and though it had a chair in the TUB there was no way to get into the tub with a chair and the reason we needed the roll-in shower was my wife had foot surgery and didn’t want to climb over a tub onto a slippery surface. Staff seemed very mediocre for Marriott staff and the breakfast was not very exciting either. There is a residence inn a couple blocks away and looks really nice on the outside. I would check that out next time we were in the area. There are not of restaurants nearby.

What a fantastic stay! I needed a tall-order....room to fit my husband, me and two of our adult children. I also wanted parking and breakfast and a central location to tourist sites. This place had it all! Our room had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. There was so much room! We never felt cramped. We were visiting our other adult child and at the end of our busy days, he and his girlfriend came over and we enjoyed evenings at the pool and fire pit. We are take-out on the outdoor patio. The hotel was very clean, well maintained and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

The food was actually good. Service was quick and friendly. Meet a friend there for drinks and the food. Small but very nice lounge in the hotel.

Would not recommend this hotel. I spend a lot of time traveling, over 100 nights a year mostly at Marriotts. Beds and linens are extremely cheap and uncomfortable, walls are thin, very noisy. They have “efficient thermostats”, which basically means they shut off everything, including the fan after about 15 minutes. You wake up either hot or cold. I called the front desk to get help and they had the manager helping five other rooms with the same problem.

We recently stayed here for 5 nights between Christmas and New Year. Very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, spacious, the bathroom bright and recently remodeled, it has a small fridge and microwave, and a sitting area. It's located about 4 blocks from downtown Burbank, easy to walk to downtown. Indoor parking costs about $20/day, very close to Interstate 5 but without the noise. It's a great jumping point to sights such as Warner Bros Studios, LA Zoo, Griffith Park, and Universal Studios. There is an outdoor lap pool on the property. In my opinion, the best feature is an included plentiful buffet breakfast, which energizes you for a full day of touring. I definitely would return!.

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in Nov 2022. I booked the room under my husbands account. When we checked in, we were told they had to have a verbal okay for him for us to stay there. Unfortunately, it was 1 am Indiana time so I could not get a hold of him. I was told by the clerk that is was easy to cancel that reservation and just book us a room under my name since they had availability. Now I get my credit card statement and I was charged for the inital reservation under my husbands name. I called and was told "oh sorry, that was a prepaid non refundable room so you have to pay for both reservations". Is this for real??? How about mentioning that before you just whilly nilly change my reservation to a different name? Horrific! The room was so dirty that I had to get a different room. No kleenex or toilet paper in the second room. Never again will I stay here. Marriott you should be ashamed.

Room did not appear to be cleaned prior to check in. Dusty surfaces. Stained bedding so making the bed must have counted as cleaning by the hotel. Room wreaked of air freshener. Phone was broken and engineer never showed to repair. Marriott does not value its Bonvoy members to say the least. Very expensive stay for something equivalent to a low budget dump.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to Universal Studios (not worth it). Our stay was terrible for multiple reasons: 1. We arrived three hours early to check-in time and was told our room wasn’t ready yet -which is fine because we were early. However the staff informed us that our room would be ready within the hour and that they would call us when it was ready. We decided to go to ikea next door for food and to walk around. Two hours plus later and almost at the regular 4pm check in, we still did not receive a phone call. We check back in with the front desk and it seems like no one bothered to call us despite the fact that our room has been ready. 2. After checking into the room and settling in, a housekeeper barged in, within the first 10 min, without knocking or notice. It didn’t seem like she knew someone was staying in the room but at least gave us an “oh…sorry” before leaving. 3. Most ludicrously, on the second night of our stay, someone at the front desk rang us in the middle of the night AT 2AM TO “check if we were still in the room”. Too tired to question this, I replied “well I’m here” after picking up the call. 4. We were unpleasantly upgraded to a room facing the main road and the restaurant/club across the street. You will be entertained well into the evening with its thumping dance tunes. 5. There is no housekeeping unless your stay is for more than 4 days. Good luck disposing of trash and if you need more than two towels and two rolls of toilet paper for your family. 6. We read there was a recent incident of a homeless man attacking a guest in the parking lot a few weeks prior to our stay. So I guess be vigilant. Pros: 1. There is free breakfast. It wasn’t terrible.

First, the greeting was warm and professional by James Clark. Easy on and off the freeways. Close to the airport by no shuttle available. IKEA around the corner with charging stations for your Tesla. Rooms are clean and very quiet hotel. The pool is perfection with chairs or lounges. Arika is behind the bar. She is lots of fun with games galore to keep you occupied at the bar with friends

Very clean and staff is very friendly! My favorite part was that it was outside LA and the drive was super easy! I didn’t want to stay in LA and this was the perfect stay for my daughter and I! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Burbank or be near LA without staying in the major city!
