Food got here in a timely fashion. Opened the box and thought OMG. They made a mistake this looks like Burger King. Sandwich Pork Beef combo was saucy wet. Portion of meat was just awful. And I eat like a bird. Curly fries nothing to write home about. The only thing I am not going to throw away is the slaw. I do not recommend this place. Order from Burger King you’ll be happier!!

In the beautiful city of downtown Burbank California, Ribs Against the Machine is definitely a must try BBQ restaurant if you are not a regular visitor here already. The combo plate with smoked ribs is fully loaded and tastes amazing. The individual beef sandwiches & side dishes are delicious. It's always busy here with good vibes, good people, and the inside looks great. Shoutout to the owner and his staff for working hard to serve great food & provide outstanding service.

Went for first time today. Really delicious! Best beef ribs Ive had in a long time. I could eat a pan of their cornbread. The slaw was a lil too vinegar for me. I get it. Its there to cut the fatty goodness of the meat. But everything else was fantastic. my family loved the Mac bowls. Just really great food at a great bbq price. Well be back!

Friendly and committed ownership and staff who know their menu well and make excellent suggestions for first timers.
We were also treated to an impending menu item by the owner who only asked for our honest review (Note: the banana pudding is spectacular!)
If you're looking for a quick BBQ fix in Burbank...this is it!
Ribs, sandwiches, and tacos (beef and pork) plus sodas on the menu.
Enjoy!

I came here at around 6:25pm on Saturday and dined in. The food didn't come out till almost 40 mins later. I didn't have a chance to enjoy it since I had to catch a movie, so I had to take the majority of the food home.

The restaurant was severely understaffed with only 2 people working and there were like 15 customers within that timeframe. Not only that, there are only 6-7 tables inside and two tables outside, so if you have absolutely nothing better to do after dinner and are willing to wait longer than average for your food, this place is for you.

Other than the awful wait time, beef ribs were pretty good, mac n cheese was on the salty side and vinegar slaw was decent.

Quiet little spot with only a few tables inside and one outside, nice atmosphere though.
We got ribs this time, but will absolutely go back to try the sandwiches and tacos.

Great little rib place. I hade the pork rib tacos and I can't wait until until the next time I'm in town for business so I can hit this place up again.

Great place for Ribs!
Had a bit of a wait, but was given an extra rib for my patience.
Portions are generous, and I really liked the option of being able to order a single rib as I dont have a large appetite.
Best Iced Tea I ever tasted too!
Loved the music playing whilst I ate, not too loud just right.
Staff were really attentive and polite.
Next time Im in Bubank I will try the Beef ribs.

Definitely overpriced . With that money I couldve gone to Wood Ranch . Mashed potatoes was not even hot, Mac and cheese was average. When I asked for bread, dude In the back said, there’s one slice of bread at the bottom, although his friend gave me 2 slices of the $1.50 bread they probably got from Ralph’s. If you are starting a new business, you need to treat every customer like god until it starts to walk . ONE and DONE!
