Wow I have not had great Japanese BBQ for a while. Super friendly staff. Good size dishes. The sushi is super fresh and has great flavor. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Had an awesome birthday lunch at Oku-Niku today!

My husband took me out for some Japanese bbq & had a great time. They have an AYCE option for $55 and a premium AYCE with higher cuts of meat for $75. We decided to not do ayce bc we didn’t want to over eat due to our dinner plans later in the evening. So we ordered their 2 meat lunch option—picked the prime short rib and beef belly. It came with rice, smashed cucumber salad and miso soup for $25. Great...

We came here for a Saturday lunch. Happened to be quiet today at the restaurant.

Ordered the $75 AYCE lunch.
Kobe wagyu was the best of course. The ribeye was good. Also the salmon and the yellowtail carpaccio were great.

All the beef items were tasty. The chicken was okay. (Its just chicken!) The spicy shrimp was great too.

I liked that they can do half orders or certain items. We did this with the beef fried rice.
