Great BBQ, sandwiches are excellent, staff is friendly & helpful, and they take good care of kiddos. Highly recommend, our favorite spot to stop by after a day at Griffith Park.

If you’re from the south and on a mission to find good BBQ in Los Angeles, you can skip this place. They do smoke their meat, so that’s a plus. Just didn’t really have anything that good that I tried. The meat was like warm and the BBQ sauce (small portion served on the side) was cold and not anything to write home about. Nothing was really bad either, though. They probably make a bomb burger. I’ll go back sometime to try that. They have some good beers too. The search continues.

food was mediocre, but the brisket was amazing.. the chili/ coleslaw sides were bland and uninspiring. tri tip wasn't very good either, cold to the touch.. didn't feel fresh. the pickled peppers/onions tasted funky.. everything needed salt to it. would come back for brisket

A hidden gem right out in the open. This is the best tri-tip sandwich I've ever eaten. Hyperbole? Maybe it's because this food is so darn good! I am very happy that this place has not been overrun yet, with a line through the parking lot. The owner/operator and his staff are so down to earth and so kind I feel like I'm popping into my buddy's BBQ and mooching his amazing food. Try the Trooper Sandwich and the Camper salad. Fantastic, delicious and addictive.

Lucille's ain't got nothin' on Scouts Honor BBQ! Omg the best meat I've ever had. The sides are alright, but the meat is damn delicious. The Brisket and Tri Tip will literally melt in your mouth.I don't know if Basecamp is affiliated with SH. It is terrible. Greasy, no flavor, and they do NOT cook to order. I order everything extra crispy and the bacon was basically raw. Will not be back.

Called in ahead of time to order a brisket breakfast burrito to take to work. Took my phone number and name and told me 15 min. I arrive 15 min later to have them tell me whoops we forgot there's no brisket.. okay just give me whatever please. 5 min later someone comes out to tell me they're putting tri tip in my burrito, sounds good I gotta go I'm late... get my giant paper bag, with zero utensils for the hash browns or napkins, and NO TRI TIP!!! 3 little baby bits of bacon among the sea of hash browns that no only filled the entire burrito but also the entire to go container. Super bummed on this one it looks like a cool place.

First review!!! Great prices and solid bbq and food. Outdoor seating is nice. The fries are fat but thin and crispy.

One of our favorite places to get coffee - located in the beautiful Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood, you suddenly feel transported to a small town. Sip your coffee as you watch neighbors ride horses down the street. The food is delicious (especially the pastries!) and the coffee is great - we recommend the Horchata Latte! Plenty of seating, service is quick and the atmosphere is really laid back. Definitely recommend this place!

Still love this place. Staff is super friendly and they allow furry friends to join you. The food is very fresh and the wait time is short. They serve breakfast and lunch. One day I will order something other than baked goods...well, maybe...!*Order your food and drinks at the register, pay, get a number, grab a table and they will bring your your food. Bon appetit:)

The food here is good enough, but a couple of times it has come out cold. What really lets this place down is the consistently bad service. The staff are aloof, not welcoming and always more interesting in doing ANYTHING else but serving customers.

Don’t usually leave reviews—moved here from TX, not even a huge fan of BBQ, love this place. Great eats and energy here, especially considering the options in Burbank. Can’t wait to come back.

Where do i start, this is an update on my last review of Basecamp and now Scouts Honor. We moved to Rancho February of 2022 and found Bascecamp and fell in love with the place and food but there was something missing until recently and that something was Amanda and Mathew the new owners.Talk about doing a 180 the food has always been amazing but now with the BBQ on the weekends it's turned out little Rancho neighborhood into a community and not to mention the staff some old some new and all are super cool. We have met so many incredible people from far and near and there's nothing like getting people to talk when your chowing down on mouth watering pulled pork. The only problem i have is 5 stars isn't enough we need to crank it up to 11. Thanks for completing our neighborhood.

A trio of us met at Basecamp Dinette X Scout's Honor BBQ for brunch on Super Bowl Sunday and we had a "super" experience with the customer service and food. I ordered the Bagels and Lox with a Latte and both were delicious and hearty. The place was crowded and there was a short line to order. The inside ambience was nice and comfortable with many seating options to hang out and "shoot the breeze" with friends. I really enjoyed the artwork and cool furniture. There is outdoor dining too with dining tables, chairs and picnic tables. It was a cold day and finding a warm spot was not easy. I recommend a warm blanket, jacket, shawl or sweater if you dine outdoors in the winter. The customer service is friendly and attentive. My bagels and lox was delicious and tasted very fresh. The salmon was served in the shape of a rose and came with a sliced bagel, cream cheese, tomatoes, and capers. Our trio was happy with their food selections and we stayed until it closed, which was about 3 pm. There is a parking lot and some street parking available. I look to visiting again to try some other appetizing options.
