Today we had brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday with family & a friend. We were first welcomed by the manager at the front desk who was friendly and accommodating, and gave us a perfect booth!! We had Will as our server & he was great & always made sure everything was perfect ! The food was so incredible , such a nice variety of veggies, potatoes, egg dishes, crab legs , prime rib, Belgian waffles & fabulous garlic cheese toast!! For dessert they had a chocolate fountain to dip strawberries & marshmallows , yummy crème brûlée talked with fresh fruit, assorted cookies, brownies, and even churros !! The champagne was delightful !! Do yourself a favor, try the Smoke House Sunday brunch soon. It's amazing.!!!
The food presentation and service were vey good. The Apple Martini was delicious and strong!
We had amazing service from Marce! We love her!! The food was amazing per usual and the vibes are always vibing here! Such a special Hollywood experience with great food and great vibes 😀
Great food, service ambiance. The best bartenders!
Other than the history and reputation, nothing very special. Food was good, not outstanding or imaginative, but good. Wine list is mediocre, but cocktails very good. Some tables aren't very comfortable and it's noisy.
Always loved the Smokehouse growing up! This time the cheese read was dry and hard and 3 out of 4 of our party members had massive intestinal issues early in the morning after dining there. The 4th person did not have salad as the other 3 did. Something was not right with the dinner. We sat in the extra room that was very plain and set up like a lodge hall. The room didn't go with the $400 dinner bill. Sorry to say we won't go back.
The food was outstanding. The garlic bread always lives up to its reputation. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and was juicy and so delicious. Don't forget to order a delicious Cosmopolitan!
Way too crowded. Service was about on par for the crowdedness. Service slow to bring cheese bread but food came very soon after they asked if we were ready. Wine list very poor and too simple, underwhelming. Seating at appt time perfect. Overall experience B-.
I was very impressed with the portions. In fact the portions were so huge, my friend and I had to pack up a lot of food. We ordered the half order of cheese garlic bread and fried pickles for appetizers. Both were really good. I ordered the filet mignon with sautéed mushrooms and onions, loaded baked potato, and it came with veggies. The steak was so good. I ordered it medium and it was nice and juicy. All were good. My friend ordered the regular cut prime rib with a lobster tail, side dish was mushrooms, and it came with veggies. His lobster tail was so huge. He loved it. He only took a bite of his prime rib because he was so full, but said it was excellent. We ended with a piece of coconut cake, and they put a candle in it and sang happy Birthday to him. Everything was excellent. We now have enough left overs to enjoy a second wonderful meal. Also, the guy refilling water was on it. Thank you Smoke House.
Loved everything about the smokehouse, will definitely be back very soon! I had the prime rib, and it was superb. So was the garlic bread, the crab stuffed mushrooms, and spinach and artichoke dip!

One of our guests ordered the barbecued chicken and it was so dry he couldn't eat it. He should have sent it back but is too polite. Two of our guests said their prime rib was tough but mine was good. Our waiter was great.
Smoke House simply delivers on a dining experience from days gone by... for a touch of “the Golden Age of Hollywood”, be sure to check it out!!! The entire experience is just like traveling back in time, from the arrival, to the charming interior, to the food and service... all just delightful!
Ordered rare prime rib that was brown and had no pink. Our server screwed up all 5 of our orders and even though I ordered a martini extra cold and it was warm. Overcooked meat and warm martinis… still expensive. Very disappointing, this place is resting on being a tourist trap at best.

Waiting for a booth is definitely worth it, they're very comfortable and feel very intimate/private. We were lucky to be sat at the Garry Marshall booth. The main course meal and dessert were very good, but was disappointed in the garlic cheese bread. The service was SO fast too and very friendly.

As many have mentioned, be sure you order the cheesy garlic bread. Four of us dined and, although, I'd requested a quiet table, we were seated in the back room with some large parties. We had fun anyway, but it can be loud. Ask for a booth in the front room (or bar area), if you want a most nostalgic feel (although noise may still be "energetic".) We had nice starter salads (green and caesar) along with our bread. For entrees, we had the steak Sinatra pasta (excellent sauce, although the steak wasn't quite up to filet mignon tenderness), tri-tip, and ribs. We went for the experience more than the food - which as advertised is Fine Food at a Fair Price - nothing that would be considered as great for a foodie, but still fun for the atmosphere and memories. The service was attentive and efficient. Valets were quick and friendly - costs $8 (without tip) to valet park.
