We used to go to the downtown LA location before it closed and always enjoyed it, but this location is far better. From the moment we started with the bread — which was incredible — the experience was outstanding. The service was absolutely flawless. We had the filet and lobster, and it’s been a long time since I’ve had a lobster tail that good. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We’re so happy with this meal and will definitely be regulars.

The food and drinks were very good, my chicken was cooked to perfection… but you have to try the mac and cheese! I also love finding places where I can dress up a little nicer, like a cute date night in heels kind of night but they also have a little more relaxed (but still elevated) sports bar kind of section.

Really great food. Went for lunch but was able to also order from the dinner menu, which was a huge plus. We were celebrating a birthday and upon arriving to our table, they had confetti on it and a personalized card. Really nice touch! You have to try the prosciutto appetizer, great flavor. We had the NY steak bone in which was delicious as well as their dinner scallop and lobster risotto, all so good. For dessert, the cheesecake was awesome. Mark provided exceptional service. Will definitely go back.

Have eaten here at least 3-5 times, once for lunch where I had the lunch special, salad and entree. Two or 3x I've had dinner here as well: ordered a steak (excellent), the Grand Plateau (enough for 2 dinners), and the veal chop (the BEST), always ordering the beet salad. The last time I threw caution to the wind, and decided to order a different (new on menu) salad: the Spinach and kale salad....Chef Ryan came out and assured me, bc I had turned my nose up at kale, the salad was excellent. Well, guess what: it WAS..... Service is excellent, from the reception to the wait staff. I also frequently Eddie V's (same company, different menu) bc of the service.
This was a wonderful dining experience. Our server was Steven, and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. My friends and I very much enjoyed ourselves, both because of Steven and the other wait staff and because of the delicious, high-quality food prepared by Chef Laura. My friends and I felt so welcomed. I will definitely be returning.

We came to the Capitol Grille because we loved it so much the first time. We love to sit at the bar. The barstools are so comfortable and the service is impeccable. Our server/bartender, Alyssa, was amazing. Friendly, efficient and perfectly attentive. John and Kevin, as well, all wonderful. Our food was delicious and we will definitely return soon!
