We had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! The baristas working were so kind and welcoming. The iced vanilla latte was delicious, my husband said it was “one of the best” he’s ever had. I got a mascarpone cake that was perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious mocha with lovely 'latte art' (but I missed a pic)! It wasn't too sweet even though I didn't say "half sweet" like I have to elsewhere. My spouse's cortado was delicious. Our pup even got a little cup of frothed milk & lapped it all up. We got the Rico burrito & it came with yummy molcajete salsa and creamy verde sauce. The barista - from Sydney - was friendly & the server was very efficient. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in the area.

I really enjoyed the coffee and so, I recommended it to my husband, who loves coffee. I never thought that he would be faced with micro aggressions and ignorance during his visit. He was intrigued by

I love unincorporated coffee and I’m so happy that this location opened up. I’m kind of a coffee snob and do think this is the best coffee around. P.S. Unincorporated >>> Alfred’

I’m firm believer that the service dictates the product being over the top . This coffee was beyond amazing. (I need to write notes of names) the barista helped me on which bag a coffee I should buy. We also got cups of coffee. Smooth low acidity flavorful.

So I wanted to check out this local spot and their edgy signs out front.I was quickly deflated when I walked in and the 2 baristas just stared at me. Not a hello or acknowledgement in an empty room. It was very uncomfortable. So I waited at the counter patiently wondering how long I would be ignored.I ordered and sat down.A few minutes later the place started to pick up and each and every individual who walked in was greeted - as the only non white person in the room it didn't feel great.I noticed the faces of reviews that referenced friendly staff all have something in common - not one of them look like me. It's a strange and rare vibe to get being a native Angeleno. Very disheartening. The latte was also not great, I asked for low sweetness and its almost like they did the exact opposite on purpose, it was basically a syrup latte.Priscillas is a decades old shop across the street and sometimes you just have to stick with what you know.

TLDR; Bad iced matcha, worse customer service.I ordered an iced matcha latte (with regular milk) which was $7, a price I accepted because it’s LA, people need to be paid, ceremonial-grade matcha isn’t cheap, it’s a neighborhood business, etc. But when I got the drink, it was way too skimpy on the matcha powder and not mixed in properly. I went back to the barista to ask if they wouldn’t mind adding some more matcha since the latte tasted like a glass of milk, and she told me it would be another $2 if I wanted “extra”(!) matcha. On top of the $7 I just paid? Come on now.I also ordered a plain croissant which was stale which was both a shame and missed opportunity because these guys are right next door to a well-known neighborhood bakery.Overall a real disappointment, which would’ve been easily remedied with better customer service but c’est la vie, I suppose.

I had my second bad coffee today here. After getting a terrible coffee I had to dump in a different coffee shop I came here to support a local business and get a good coffee. The shop has the looks of giving you a good cup of joe. The coffee was disappointing though. Below average and mediocre at best. Maybe they use better beans for their espressos. The house coffee was just bad.
