This is not what I expect when I pay $20 for a turkey club. The greens were limp, wilted, and browning. The bacon was microwaved rubber. The tomato was frozen! Like actually LITERALLY frozen. And nothing NOTHING was seasoned. No salt or pepper on the sandwich...no salt on the potato chips. Nothing. And so salt or pepper available at the counter.
Rating airport dining establishments is hard to do... Bob Hope (BUR) Airport, for as small as it is, offers a few options. Guy Fieri's Burger Joint is on one end and Wolfgang Puck's pizza place is on the other end. Obviously, we tried Wolfgang's offering.The staff person working the cashier-order taking stand was pleasant, professional, and helpful. My partner and I had lunch this week at the Hollywood Burbank Airport Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter. She had a pizza, I had a burger. Great food, prepared to order. There is a wait like any restaurant better than Taco Bell or Burger King, but they give you a buzzer to call you to the counter when it is ready.
