Apparently this place is Guy Fieri's favorite dim sum spot because he's all over their wall. The dishes are delicious and people need to realize that the focus is good food and fast service! The environment is lively and the staff work quickly. Enjoy your dim sum with a view

Dim sum restaurant with a nice view of the ocean as it's right by the bay. It's quite crowded on weekends, about a 45 minute wait. You mark the dishes you want on the menu and they bring it to your table. Items we had were the shrimp dumplings, sui mai, chicken feet, baked bbq pork buns, sesame buns, beef balls, bean curd skin rolls, Chinese fried donut roll, and shrimp egg chow fun. The dim sum was decent but not remarkable or outstanding. Not extremely expensive but not cheap either. Their parking lot is right in front but it was full and so it was an awful fight with other cars to get a space.

We called yesterday to see if they accept reservations but they don't. Seven of us came here today at 10:20am and we didn't have to wait long, probably ten minutes then we got our table but the waiter told us that we have to finish by 12pm. We didn't say anything but laughed at each other. We didn't know that they have one and half hour time limit. If we know ahead of time we won't come here. We would like to enjoy our food and time but kinda rush. Dim Sum came out so slow. Especially, the Chicken Soup took 30 mins to come out. The dim sum was good but the service was not okay. We have to call them to fill up the water more than three times and to change plates. Three stars for the food. :)

Food is delicious but service can be better. There is plenty of seating so you don't need to wait too long unless you have a large party. Major plus is the beautiful lookout!!

From my understanding, Grand Harbor Dim Sum & Seafood is considered one of the more luxurious dim sum restaurants in the Bay Area. My experience would differ. I think the location benefits from its view of the bay, but underneath it all there are a lot of flaws to the space that makes it less luxurious. That aside, the food and service are about on par with other locations in the south Bay area. The service is brusk, bordering on rude...but expected and the food while extensive in the menu, often felt like it lacked some of finesse of a luxury restaurant. The flavor profiles are good, but everything just seems very messy. However, if you manage your expectations and are just there for the food and not the experience, you'll come away happy from Grand Harbor Dim Sum & Seafood.

It's considered a luxury restaurant because of the water view. food is a bit slow, but that tell you they make it fresh on order. parking is horrible. space is too small. feel like I am initial-D driver to navigate around the parking lot to find a spot and spent extra time to perfectly scoot into the ultra slim space. then u find out someone just make a dent on your door when u exit taste on the food is ok. but not worth the price tag. u actually paying for the view. service is ok. a bit better than peninsula dim sum.

The location and view are just awesome! It's very close to the hotel I stayed and pretty much right next to the runway of the airport. For the food, I would say around average. I will go back if I stay around that area again. But there are better dim sum places in town.

go early (within the first hour that they open) to get a seat by the window. The view of the water is beautiful especially on a sunny day. The food is delicious and they service is quick. Prices are a bit more than average dim sum, but you may be paying for the ambiance. I would highly recommend coming here!

Came here for lunch and when we walked in, there was no host, so we had to walk more inside to find the host in order to get on the waitlist. It felt kinda chaotic but we were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered pretty quickly and the food came so fast. We ordered about 16 items and everything we ordered was pretty good. The service was fine, but you would have to flag someone down everytime you wanted something. The view is great while eating. There's a parking lot outside of the restaurant, so no issues with finding parking.

Very busy place on the weekend. The parking lot is limited and very tight spaces. They have nice views of the bay. The staff do a good job with Such a busy place. The food was pretty average. It's not a bad choice for the area but it's not a top choice either. I came for a party and it was good for that.

Huge space for a Dim Sum spot and they use every bit of it during the busy hours (lunch time during weekends). Lines are often out the door but you get seated immediately when you go during their off times. The menu is huge and most of the stereotypical items like Shiu Mai and fried rice are what you expect, but they have items you really can't find in many spots. I wish I could try more but the for sure winners are the A05, Crispy Skin Roasted Pork Belly, F15 Crispy BBQ Pork Bun, H06 Rice Noodle Roll stuffed with fried Dough. For the adventurous eaters that are willing to try unique flavors: K16 jellyfish & seaweed, K17 Marinated Chicken Feet, C07 Coffee Spare Ribs. Not fully five stars because the service can improve. Typical short and quick responses from rushed workers. Parking is horrendous during peak hours and the upstairs ambiance is literally just them replaying their episode of Guy Fieri's DDD. They should mix in something else with that episode to break up the repetitiveness. The front entrance also makes sure to remind you that they have been on the DDD show. I'm all about going to flavor town but they could calm down a bit on it. Lastly prices are a bit high compared to other dim sum spots.

Solid dim sum spot in the bay. Great views. Has good banquet space for large parties. Everything I've had here is pretty solid. Their crispy bbq bun and crispy pork belly is one of the best I've ever had. A lil pricey than your usual but overall highly recommend checking them out. Lines on weekends can be long but goes fast

The view is amazing and the food is pretty good too. It's a little pricey though, around $21 something per dish at dinner time. Service was good. Tea was refilled often, extra napkins and utensils when asked. Food was tasty. Steamed giant clams were tasty. Just the right sweetness With a light garlic flavor. The star of the show were the salt and pepper pork spare ribs. Delicious. They were just right, with a perfect light tasty fried batter coating. Scallops on tofu with mushrooms was interesting. Good but not really my jam. Pretty good meal. I can see why Guy Fieri visited.

Not sure why this place only has 3 starts. Everything we ordered was good and the view was beautiful. My favorite was the Portuguese egg tart and the shrimp rice noodle roll. You can feel that they made their food from scratch. Their parking lot could get super packed. Try to carpool or Uber here.
