I'm mostly gluten free so I was super happy to learn that everything on the menu including their Chocolate Chip Cookies was gluten free. My husband had a craving for Pho and I wanted a Salad so we decided to make the trek to Burlingame and try this place since I also wanted to visit Five Little Monkeys. First to arrive were the Chicken Pho which came out piping hot and the Banh Mi Chicken Sandwich. The Salmon Salad took longer to prepare. That was fine by me since it would be fresh. The Pho was good but not as good at a Pho restaurant but it satisfied the craving. My husband ate the whole thing and drank up the broth though he said it wasn't great. They gave too much hot sauce so that was a waste. My son liked his Banh Mi. He didn't have it with jalapenos though. The second half was eaten by my husband who said it was a nice sandwich with good bread. I liked my Salmon Salad though I wish I had not dumped the entire contents of dressing over my greens. It was too wet but delicious nonetheless. The Salmon was prepared really well and had a great flavor of lemongrass. Service was friendly. The restroom was clean but the toilet didn't flush well. You had to wait and flush the pee and toilet paper a few times.

This was a quick and easy stop right after landing at the San Francisco airport. There is only street parking but there were open spots close. The food came out relatively fast and the service was friendly. Gluten free: A completely gluten free facility so can't go wrong!

When Asian Box first opened in Burlingame it was so tasty and I had cravings to go a few times a month. I introduced a coworker to it and she was doing the same, going maybe two times a week! Some house this place makes you have cravings for their food. So now I went yesterday haven't been there and maybe two years and I ordered the Work Out and my friend ordered Pho. The size portion got a tad smaller. The food seemed a little drier. It just didn't have the same appeal like a few years before. My friend said the Pho was bland. After I sent a text to my coworker, she went up to Burlingame today and ordered the Pho. She sent me a text that she agreed that it was bland. Anyway my craving is gone and I will return but not as often as I did a few years ago.

Still like the concept - healthy take on Vietnamese food, almost "fusion"ish. Ingredients seem fresh, but they really reduced the portion sizes; the salad was only half-to-two thirds full. Service was just average. Good location, and it's competitive on Burlingame Ave., so it wouldn't be my first (or second or third) choice.

I picked up the Chefs Asian salad with extra yellow sauce and extra chicken. Very good meal...filling, tasty, and somewhat healthy... I think.

I tried Banh mi for the first time here at Asian Box. The homemade bread was interesting. Inside of the bread was soggy with the sauce. Pork was soft, but thick slices for a normal Banh mi. Lack of vegetables and flavor. I don't think they know what is Banh mi and it was not restaurant quality. Go to Cherimoya to get a decent one. Disappointing.

Check your to-go order before you leave. They have messed up ours twice now, even when a tip is left. Most recently we are short one person’s dinner. Not service focused.

To anyone looking at the 3.7 stars: Please don't let that discourage you from ordering from here. I'm actually surprised at the low star ratings! I've been here multiple times and tried different dishes, and they've all been delicious! My favorite is the lemongrass salmon salad. The ginger-citrus soy vinaigrette is such a great touch. It adds a fresh and delicious flavor to the salad. I'm so glad we have an Asian Box here.

I've been eating here for years and the portion sizes have been steadily getting worse and worse. I ordered pho and there was barely enough broth to cover the noodles. How do you skimp on BROTH!?

I only get appetizers to go, but each and every time I go in, the service is attentive, welcoming, and accommodating. Looking forward to trying more items.

Great place to get some Asian inspired fast food. This location was very accommodating as we came by within 10 minutes of the closing date. Vegetarians and carnivores should be able to find something to satisfy their hunger. Choose from one of their Signature Boxes or Create Your one Box. The Chicken Curry box was delicious. It included Sriracha(?) in case you wanted to "kick it up a notch".

Stop what your doing and order from this place or go there now!! It was lunch time and I needed something quick, also was craving something fresh. Tired of the same ole Sandwich's or Burger's. I saw Asian Box on my Uber eats app and I thought why not. I have had a Vietnamese sandwich before but as I scrolled through the menu those lunch boxes with the chicken were looking too delicious to pass up. So I order both, Chef's salad with chicken and the Pork Bahn Mi. I am feeling really hungry so I throw in the Shrimp spring roll because why not, I love those rolls and I will never pass up an opportunity to eat one. Food was delivered promptly and packaging was very very nice. My husband and I split everything and as I type this I am so pleasantly satisfied with everything in our order. The roll for the Pork Bahn Mi was super toasty and fresh, the meat was perfectly tender never got a fatty piece or a piece I couldn't chew. And the chicken salad was just the freshness I was looking for and topped with their six spice chicken was the icing on the cake. Thank you Asian Box for being surprisingly wonderful, can't wait to order from there again!

This place has gone so downhill from what it used to be. I don't know if it changed ownership or what but the last time I was there having lunch with a friend the owner was talking to some of the employees at the top of her lungs, it was so disruptive, awkward and super annoying. The tofu spring rolls used to be really plump, and fresh. Now they are small and thin and not fresh at all. They are brown. Not going back.
