Food was okay. The Pad Thai was underwhelming, but the Sweet Basil with Pork dish was a bomb! Service were nice but it seemed like we were hurried to finish our meal (it was likely 9pm, but it was still ahead of their closing time at 10pm). Overall, I'd still come back and try other dishes.

My company held a private event for a client and their team (approximately 50 people) and the Coconut Bay team did not disappoint. They sectioned of the back room for us and it was just the right size for our event. We were able to do a combination of bringing our own bottles of drink, but were also able to order from their bar. The food was fantastic dining in just as it was when we had catered delivery. All around great place and great ambiance. Highly recommend and will do business with again. Thank you!!!

Super amazing authentic Thai food. All foods we ordered are great. Thank you Chef. Fantastic customer service from Dara, BK and even the receptionist Chloe gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back and bring my friends.

Coconut Bay in Burlingame offers a delightful dive into the rich flavors of Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine. Known for its vibrant dishes and warm, inviting atmosphere, this restaurant has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike
Coconut Bay excels in delivering authentic Thai flavors with a menu that’s both extensive and diverse. Signature dishes like the Pad Thai and Green Curry are crowd-pleasers, bursting with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory notes. The Tom Yum Soup is another highlight, offering a tangy, spicy kick that’s both refreshing and comforting. For those who enjoy seafood, the Drunken Noodles with prawns and the Pineapple Fried Rice with a mix of shrimp and chicken are must-tries. Portions are generous, and the presentation is always appealing.
Food is okay. For take out they don't include any utensils or napkins. Not great if you just want to eat at the park

Food tasted good but not budget friendly. The tea was strong, not smooth. I felt the dishes needed more spices and they did not ask how spice I would like my food.

We booked a private room in the back for our post-wedding lunch with our tier A friends (if you know, you know).
It was easy to arrange the details and menu over email with Aimorn. She originally suggested I scale back the menu, saying it was too much food. I accepted her suggestion, but at the lunch itself I realized it was too little food. Maybe her usual groups don’t include 100% hungry young adults with healthy appetites? We ended up ordering more food.
They let us come early to set up, and already had some decorations on the table which was appreciated.
I would recommend you book your special events here!

Excellent food (not the best Thai we've ever had but it's way up on the list - top 10 for sure). The staff we're very cordial and attentive.

We all arrived about 8:05 pm on a Saturday night. Restaurant had a few tables full but was not busy. The staff were so eager to get us fed and out that they offered us dessert before we all got our main courses. The waitress asked us if we wanted dessert because the kitchen would close soon. We looked at each other and could not believe it! It wasn't even close to 9pm yet and two people had not received their mains yet.
We did not feel relaxed because you could tell the team wanted to wrap up and leave. Food was good though. Its a pity that the vibe was not as relaxed and welcoming.

Huge restaurant, nice decor. Service was fast and food was delicious, including the crispy roti for dessert. We went on a Thursday night and there was live music, great singer. My only complain is that it was a bit loud. But overall a great first visit.
