I paid 15 dollars for a salad that was supposed to have lettuce, olives, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, feta. As you can see in the photo it was 90%lettuce, no olives, about 5 small chopped tomatoes and the same amount of cucumber. I came home and was pissed when I opened it up to nothing but lettuce. The girl who made it was rude, and took so long to make it. I will never order a salad from them again

My experiences with De Javu Juice Bar is top tier. When I moved to Burlingame 3 years ago from Miami I was looking for a new juice spot and this place surpassed my expectations. I had never done a juice cleanse/detox before and I was so interested in doing it because the juices are all delicious. The ingredients are always fresh and the service is top notch. I have visited the San Mateo location and the Burlingame location always surpasses my expectations. I recommend them for their juices, smoothies and sandwiches! It's a bit of a wait when you order food with your choice of drink but its well worth the wait.

Been craving a green juice and was so happy to pop in here and grab their “green special,” a perfect combo of sweet and veggie, with pineapple, kale, banana, mango and more. So refreshing. Definitely getting this again in another medium size.5 stars!!!!

Excellent customer service and love to support a local business. Their drinks are so refreshing and all natural and you can taste that it's excellent quality. The interior is super clean. The sandwiches and salads also is really good. I would definitely recommend the açaí bowl if you're looking for something refreshing.

Juices are good but a little expensive. Was charged a service fee that I was not aware of and when I asked the store manager he got aggressive and intimidating with me. No need to act this way with customers. Very uncomfortable. I'll be buying juice elsewhere.

support your local juice/smoothie bars!!!i've been on that health kick the last few months, and this has been such a refreshing lil treat this summerlove that this spot opens so early - and reasonable evening hours too. so clutch that it's walking distance from the spot i've been recently working out at... i've ordered protein smoothies and juices here. prices are reasonable!!! metered parking around this area (it's downtown burlingame). it's $1 per hour. so far they have been so speedy with orders, i haven't had to worry about putting more monies in the meter!! :D
Our favorite smoothies in the area. Reasonably priced compared to other options near by. They have a lot of choices for the smoothies, each one I've had being really good. My go-to is the Aloha, classic strawberry banana. You get the option of frozen yogurt or ice cream in the smoothies--I always go with frozen yogurt, the ice cream is a bit too sweet. The place is pretty small, but nice to sit in while you wait for your drinks. Although, you won't be waiting too long, they're pretty fast.

They lied on the phone twice. Not organic, and smoothies are made using preservative filled mixes. Nothing fresh about this place, stay away.

Hot Smoothies and Rotting Salads. My customer service experience was painful. A quarter of my spinach salad was decomposing spinach. They were out of 1 out of the 4 ingredients to make the salad to begin with. They cleaned the juicer half an hour before close and wouldn't make any juices but I went with the flow and asked them to make me a smoothie with the same juice ingredients. When I walked out and tasted the smoothie they were WARM (probably from all the blending and not putting any cold ingredients in). And total was over $50 for two salads and smoothies. If I wasn't delirious from a 11 hour flight I would have walked out earlier or drove back and complained. Criminal.

They dilute the ginger shots with apple juice and lemon juice. The menu only says "ginger shot." What if someone is allergic to apples or lemon? I was told here that ginger does not produce juice but at the store Juice It Up! they always give me ginger shots with pure ginger juice.Apples are commonly used as cheap filler ingredients so I basically paid $20 for a fancy apple juice. Total ripoff.
