The restaurant was not busy when I was seated even though I was early and waiting for my friend in the 10 minutes nobody offered me a drink when she arrived it took another 10 minutes to get attention The apps were ok however we had fettuccine which was raw we told the waiter and he saw we did not eat it and at the end he said he comped our dessert which we did eat I was there a few months ago fir a friends birthday and they made it special this time as we left the host said by the way happy birthday Unfortunately I cannot recommend or want to return too bad since I know they can do better and on a prior visit they did Very disappointed
The food was excellent. Staff were attentive but not hovering. Everything was going well, until the band started. All conversation ceased because it was so loud. The couple at the table next to us stopped talking and were on their phones. It was simply too loud to have a conversation. It's unfortunate because the experience up until then was excellent. I won't return.
Our friends were performing there that evening, Saturday. So, it was very nice to hear them play. The service even though not perfect was very good. The waiter and the manager stepped in to make sure that we were being attended to properly. The cooks apparently didn't listen to the waiter's instruction to hold off before serving. And he was very apologetic and comped us our wines. And the Manager stepped in to make sure we were having a good time. We were. Some mistakes one just overlooks.
Very attentive service without being overly so. Enjoyed the Bianca Pizza and the Barrel Aged Negroni.
Bar side is a bit loud Ordered double lamb salami ended up getting double of the mortadella , lamb slices of salami were so small (thinly sliced ) they were not even full circle slices ! Overall it was nice but could be better
Read up a lot on this place + all the advertisements for this place, I had high hopes and expectations but I came in Monday with a reservation at 12pm, it seems they were quite unprepared, the inside smelled like the bathrooms which no surprise, no wonder no one wanted to sit inside.
Our server was extremely unattentive, I don't remember her name but she had brown hair and short, rather youngish. She only checked on us a few times, would hardly come to us despite us being right in front of the entrance. It took a min of 10mins to get a hold of our server by which, I didn't even want to order anything else anymore other than wait nearly 20mins for our bill.
I came here for the pasta cooked in the cheese wheel, couldn't find it on the menu so I settled for the 3 course course lunch special, only to find out that the cheese wheel pasta was indeed available but by request only. I may come again but it certainly won't be with reservations anymore since it didn't seem to matter as the staff seemed unprepared anyways.
The food we ordered were pretty decent, I would entertain a 2nd visit only because I want to try the cheese wheel pasta but other than that, I'd look at other restaurants around the area. Was a big disappointment after waiting a month just to dine here.

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and they made it feel so special and recommended a great Brut. Also gifted us a special dessert at the end of the dinner. Will definitely come back again!
First time at this place.
They need to clean not only the table but the chairs and floor after each service.
Food was good.

Absolutely superb!! The scallops were probably the best I have ever had. That's the thing, I will never order scallops anywhere else now.
The atmosphere is nice but that's about it. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that great either.

We went to an early dinner after the long day on the beach. We were a large group with people - mixed ages. The decor was spectacular and the staff was elegant and welcoming.
Everything we ordered was exquisite, including the complimentary olive oil focaccia bread. The couple of bottles of wine went down quickly with all the food we ordered.
We ordered the pasta Ala Ruota ( cheese wheel pasta) where they prepared the dish inside a giant Parmesan cheese wheel - The kids enjoyed the show! Was as delicious as it looked and complimented the showmanship of our waiter.
It was a bit pricey but worth every dollar. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Food was delicious! We sat outside on a Saturday with the dog so there was quite a bit of traffic. Servers were slow to clear dishes, but they may have been short staffed. It's a big restaurant. Overall a great experience! Absolutely worth trying.
Excellent causal Lunch on a beautiful half Moon Bay Day. Great mussels appetizer and bread. Very good octopus salad and pasta dishes. Will return.

The service is great from the moment you walk in, to the time you leave your table.
The accept fur babies outside in the patio which I loved because this way I can bring my dog with me and allow her to also have an experience.
Very welcoming atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I would be back soon!
Grazie mille!

After reading the Chef/Owner bio I had high expectations since he came from several high end places in SF ie; Campton Place, St Regis, Luce to mention a few. I was so excited to enjoy a good meal here.
We ordered the meat lovers pizza, calamari with onion rings, mussels, chicken alfredo and the linguini. The pizza and calamari were pretty good, the mussels were over cooked to the point that the red onion was so chard and not edible at all, the alfredo over all was dry and could of use more cheese or salt, the linguine was so under flavored as well.
Service was good our server was very attentive.
And something we don't get was the fact that we were charged the gratuity automatically and we were a party of 4, even though it clearly states on the menu and receipt that 20% gratuity was added for parties of 6 or more.
Not sure if we will be dining here again.
