We returned here to celebrate a birthday. It is a restaurant we always enjoy. The day before a call was made saying it was the birthday for one of us. We were told that a complimentary dessert with a candle would be served. We arrived at 4pm. We were only given the regular menus and later had to ask for the pris fixe menu. Our initial waiter was replaced by a second waiter and then for the last half of the meal, there was another wait staff person replacing waiter number 2. Our...

Food was not great. Pasta sauce was watered down, fried calamari was covered with too much batter, 3 item lunch options limited(everything had added $), dessert options not great. Seafood did taste fresh. The food just was not tasty. Service was very good!

The food was excellent. Staff were attentive but not hovering. Everything was going well, until the band started. All conversation ceased because it was so loud. The couple at the table next to us stopped talking and were on their phones. It was simply too loud to have a conversation. It's unfortunate because the experience up until then was excellent. I won't return.
