Five Guys is one of the restaurants that offers the best burger experience in terms of taste and quantity. The burgers are always freshly prepared and the meat is of high quality, making it delicious and full of mouth-watering flavor. Additionally, the variety of topping options that customers can freely choose creates new flavor combinations every time. The French fries are fried thick and crispy, adding depth of flavor. The restaurant is always kept clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience. Five Guys is highly recommended for anyone who really loves burgers.

I bought an all the way burger, and just ordered a small portion of fries. The whole thing came out. In addition, the store provides free peanuts.

BOTCHED DoorDash Order!Five Guys seems to only get orders correct if you are standing there in-person and watching them make your food. When left to their own devices, the cooks repeatedly undercook or overcook food or completely get the order wrong. My most recent order: bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon, arrived with two beef patties and almost no bacon. Also, in that order was a cheese dog, which arrived uncooked (basically raw) and cold. Very disappointing ?.

Took them 45 minutes to make a burger and fry. When my order was ready they called out my name but did not believe it was me lol. I had to show them my driver's license. Got to be one of the weirdest fast food experiences I've hadYay fast

Went here for the first time to check it out. Ordered the most basic hamburger and decided to add ketchup and mustard like I do with most hamburgers I order. BIG MISTAKE. It was nice that they gave you 2 patties instead of one but that's where the positives ended. I didn't order it 'to go' but maybe that's how 5 Guys serves all of their burgers, wrapped tightly in tin foil. The problem with that is when I immediately unravelled the foil, what I got was a big soggy mess. There was so much ketchup the whole hamburger was drenched in it and it tasted like I was eating a tomato sandwich with boiled meat. Worse hamburger I've eaten in a long time and to make matters worse, it cost 6 more dollars than the basic 'In and Out' burger which taste much better and much fresher. Seems like they spend a lot of effort on advertising inside the restaurant telling people how great their stuff is, ironically 'In and Out' does very little of that, they don't have to......

I had five guys burgers in the past and they are pretty good. The cool thing about it they don't charge toppings and you get to customize which ones you want on your burger and believe on the hot dogs as well. I usually get the little burger cause the big burger is huge and get fries on the side. Everything is cooked fresh and fries are used in peanut oil. Plus, you get complimentary peanuts while waiting for your order to be ready. It's a cool vibe almost like In N Out but franchised.

Following my first (and what had previously been my only) trip to Five Guys years ago, I'd long wondered if I should go back and give them a second chance. My experience was disappointing, but considering how so many people seem to like them, I've always figured I should go back just to see if my opinion would be any different after all of this time. And I have to say - it has. Though it's still not as glowing as how others seem to feel, it's safe to say my most recent meal was far more successful! If you've never been, Five Guys is like a cross between Shake Shack and In N Out. Like the former, the burgers here are a step above your traditional fast food joint, but the style of their food is more classic, like the latter. The menu is also a little more varied, as they offer burgers in both regular and "little" sizes, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes. Remembering my friend's advice in the past that Five Guys' "little" portions are actually regular sized at most other places, I opted to get the LITTLE BACON CHEESEBURGER ($9.29) and LITTLE FRIES ($4.39), so as not to entirely destroy my waistline.Compared to my first meal at Five Guys (in Sunnyvale, if that matters), my burger here was far more enjoyable. Whereas my first one was incredibly greasy (even on the outside of the foil...), this one wasn't nearly as bad. The patty was fairly juicy, the veggies were crisp and refreshing, the bacon was actually decently crispy, and the buns didn't get soggy just a few bites in again. That being said, the fries were just awful. The portion was generous, but how much of a plus is that when they are so mealy and limp? Sure, it's not easy to get fresh fries super crispy, especially when they are cut slightly thicker like these, but I ended up tossing about half of the order (though, to be fair, I wasn't planning on finishing it regardless).Beyond the food, possibly the biggest thing Five Guys has going for them is their late night hours. Given how most places around here close relatively early, the fact that they're open until 10pm is almost a godsend, as there aren't a ton of options in Burlingame or nearby Millbrae. Otherwise, despite how much more successful this meal went, I don't know if I have a compelling reason to come back. The burger makes a return viable, as it's a pretty solid value for the money, but it's not particularly unique either. Plus, the fries are just so bad!

I haven't been to Five Guys since the mid 2000s when I lived in DC for a minute. Back then, burgers were cheap and filling on my student budget. I also loved how you could add on so many free toppings (mushrooms were a welcome surprise!). I finished a workout class in the area and was craving some fries. I figured I deserved it since I basically worked off all the calories in advance. There were a few people inside eating, but otherwise it was pretty empty. I ordered the little fry ($4.81 after tax) and the portion size blew my mind. Unlike the name, the serving size was big enough to split between 3 people. It's nothing like what a McDonald's small will get you. Plus, I like how they're made to order. Fresh fries are always a win in my book!

My family and I love the hamburger here, and if you are willing to get some extra calories, milk shake is great too ; )

Went for lunch today. Ordered via phone. Seems like everyone was a trainee here and seemed to be high school kids. Burgers always seems to be super soggy. Fries are always good but feels like something is missing.
