I moved to Burlingame in 2020 and found Fuumi as I was walking down Broadway. It quickly became a favorite with great quality sushi from a very friendly and efficient team.
Over the past 4 years I've probably had more than 50 meals from Fuumi and they've never put a foot wrong with my order and it's always been delicious.
Sadly I've now moved out of state so my Fuumi habit has ended... But to quote Douglas Adams, "so long and thanks for all the fish!"

Decided to try out this place because of the high reviews, but it turned out average. The sashimi was fresh and decent, hence the 3 stars for food. Their udon soup had a weird taste which shouldn’t be udon at all. The takoyaki was only average.
The service was okay. Food was served quick. The restaurant was quite spacious inside in contrast to their outer look.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not really for wheelchairs because there’s one or two steps up before entering the restaurant.

Food is overpriced, and portions are small. Flavor and freshness were average at best. Spent about 40 bucks and was still very hungry.
The best cashu ramen/tonkatsu! No MSG yey! Brussel sprouts is an excellent addition to this ramen! The soup taste not too heavy or too greasy. We enjoyed d fried baby octopus. The sushi are fresh and the rolls are very good. They are generous here and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive.
