Food and service was incredible. The sushi and ramen was delicious. We went for a birthday party and brought a cake. Without us asking, the waitress offered to store the cake in their own fridge and even gave us new clean plates to eat the cake with after we ate our food. Now I have 2 reasons to go back. The food and the service.
I moved to Burlingame in 2020 and found Fuumi as I was walking down Broadway. It quickly became a favorite with great quality sushi from a very friendly and efficient team.
Over the past 4 years I've probably had more than 50 meals from Fuumi and they've never put a foot wrong with my order and it's always been delicious.
Sadly I've now moved out of state so my Fuumi habit has ended... But to quote Douglas Adams, "so...

Decided to try out this place because of the high reviews, but it turned out average. The sashimi was fresh and decent, hence the 3 stars for food. Their udon soup had a weird taste which shouldn’t be udon at all. The takoyaki was only average.
The service was okay. Food was served quick. The restaurant was quite spacious inside in contrast to their outer look.
