I am a regular here. My favorite are Gobi Munchurian and Chowmein. But I was sleeping on their dal bhat which is also great. Top it up with a mango lassi

Super friendly staff, amazing food, lovely atmosphere! The waiter has great sense of humor, the bartender and other waiter happily talk to you about Nepal, their names all mean something, ask them :) And was impressed to see that the manager steps in whenever needed, saw him cleaning tables. Such good vibes there.

Went there spontaneously and the guys are just the nicest ever! Got a keynote on the menu and 7% lifetime coupon for white water rafting in Nepal.

The best paneer tikka masala (and butter naan) in the Bay Area. Among 50+ I've tried.

We had a long layover and spent some time in burlingame, and had lunch at Himali Bistro. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The salad was so good and full of tasty things ( not some lame iceberg lettuce thing) and each of our dishes were delicious. The only shame was that we got full and couldn't take leftovers because we were headed to the airport. This place deserves several return visits to try everything on the menu. Deepak was a great host and provided wonderful service.

Tried this place for the first time last week with one of my best friends, and we were absolutely blown away. Not only did everything taste spectacular, but the presentation was beautiful as well. I can’t remember the name of the dish my friend ordered, but my butter chicken was to die for. The chicken momos were incredible, especially with the delicious side sauce and the fries were perfectly thin, crisp, and addictive. The garlic naan and cheese naan were both amazing too. Everything tasted incredibly fresh.
The service was outstanding. Our server, Deepak, was funny, kind, and made the experience even better. Sugam was also very sweet and attentive. The restaurant itself isn’t very large, but it’s cozy, comfortable, clean, and has a modern, cultured feel.
Highly recommend, I can’t wait to come back!

We ordered samosas, momos, gobe manchurian (which I order every time I go there), garlic naan, butter chicken (really good flavor), tandoori chicken and lamb shank (very tender). The only miss, I would say was the tandoori chicken - it was a small portion, and a bit dry, and an odd piece - maybe part back, part drumstick, part thigh? Good flavor, but not well executed.
