So so …

I really wanted to love this place. Nice view, good dim sum choices, easy parking. We had a big group-8 people plus a baby so naturally we ordered a lot of food. We had 3/4 of the food out and were already told to hurry up to leave because they needed the table. Then next thing you knock, they gave us take out containers to wrap up.
We spent around an hour only. Given the amount of ppl and food, how is it expected for us to leave in an hour when not all the food were even out yet as well?!
Crazy to think of that. We couldn’t even sit to enjoy the food. They never refilled the teapot since they wanted us out.
Spend your Saturday morning out somewhere else to enjoy and take everything in.

One of the best dim sum place on the peninsula. And also has a great view of the plane take off and landing.
Their lunch dimsum is very crowded so either go there early before 11:00 or after 1:00 p.m.

Since they remove the outdoor dining, they now direct overflow to the next door hotpot place, which also serve dim sums during lunch hour.

They also have good dinner banquet menu that are reasonably priced, especially there holiday dinner banquet menu.
But I always prefer banquet menus that are Tailor to our favorite dishes. Yes it will be more expensive than their set menu but at least all the dishes we will enjoy.

I've been going to hl pearl for years and am disappointed it has gone so far down hill. The food quality has continued to become sloppy while the prices increase. The treatment is unacceptable. Over an hour to get food, very hard to get anyone's attention, and now a mandatory gratuity at the end.

Good restaurant with lots of seating. Not many vegetarian options but overall service and food was good. They charge 18% gratuity on all the checks.

Would highly recommend this place, the food and service was great. The food came out pretty quickly and there was a nice variety of options, with good portions as well. The view you get while you eat is very nice.

Grab a table at HL Peninsula before 11 AM for their fantastic dim sum and avoid the wait! Enjoy delicious bites while taking in the amazing views, watching planes gracefully land!

Bad customer service. Will tell the server 3 times for them to do one task. Server just walks around but don’t do anything. Don’t recommend anyone to come here

The food is excellent. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned. Small parking lot for such a large venue. Good views.

TLDR: great food and beautiful location but pricey for dim sum

We really enjoyed all the food, the shrimp dumpling, siu mai, and other assorted dim sum were very enjoyable. The skin on the har gow was just right without being too sticky, the chicken feet were tender and not too spicy. The service was good and the view is pretty but the price is very expensive, $7.10 for a small dish with most dishes being medium at $8.10 for four pieces is a bit high.

They pretend to provide online ordering services but ignore every online order request, which would waste your time. The server who pick up phone call was also impolite

We had dinner here on Chinese New Year Day—five adults and one 18-month-old baby. We ordered a crab (which was supposed to be cooked three ways), one steamed fish, one vegetable dish, and one wagyu beef dish. No alcohol.

The final bill? A staggering $1,314.07, including an 18% service charge, which brought the total to $262.80 per adult. While we expected higher prices for the occasion, this was beyond outrageous for what we received. The food was decent but nowhere near justifying the cost. To top it off, the service was mediocre, making the automatic 18% service charge feel completely undeserved.

I’m sharing this so others don’t get duped. If you’re considering dining here, be very cautious about the pricing. This experience left a bad taste—both literally and financially.
