We were pleasantly surprised that this restaurant has regained our trust. We hadn't been here for years because the quality of food and the service went downhill. I can say happily that after lunch, we all agreed that the service and the food were fantastic. Everything was made to perfection even with our special requests. We definitely will be dining here again!

Fabulous food; unmatched in the area. Our server, Justin, was the most engaging, energetic and efficient server we have experienced in our Northern California trip. We would return for the delicious food, but mainly because of his excellent service. Ask for him and you will not be disappointed. Everyone was genuinely nice and oriented their service around the customers. Thank you for a truly wonderful evening!

The food was delicious! My wife had the tortelloni in mushroom sauce which she described as outstanding, and I had the salmon dinner, a quite substantial serving that was accompanied with spinach and roasted potatoes...very good! We shared a Caesar salad to start, and since it was my birthday, we were treated to a delicious strawberry sundae! Our server was very attentive. Aside from the noise level, this restaurant has become one of our favorites!

All of the waiters were very respectful and nice. All of the tables were clean, and even the floor was free of dust and debris. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and even if the food wasn't as good as it was, I would go back. I went for a wedding, and they gave us a small, nice little corner at the side of the restaurant.

Ordered via DoorDash pizza was okay, nothing special and tiramisu same. The prices were increased on DoorDash. I don't usually use DoorDash so not sure if that is normal. They didn't include cutlery make sure to ask for it. C$71 for this is way over priced.

Best food and customer service best restaurant. Call in 15 mins before going in for a birthday celebration and they were more than glad for us to come in. They prepared everything by the time we got there literally one hour before closing and they were very happy to serve us and give us enough time to decide on the menu made us feel like family

We hosted a baby shower at Il fornaio in burlingame and we were thrilled. The private room was beautiful. The event rental manager, Marina was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the superior waitstaff made our event even more special. We were served the most delicious Aperol Spritz and my guests were raving about them! Thank you to Il Fornaio for letting us host our event at your fine restaurant!

We always have a fantastic experience at Il Fornaio, and this time was no exception. Our waiter Justin was attentive, caring, and patient. My parents always share a salad and an entree, and he had the kitchen split their dishes. They appreciated not having to split it at the table (which happens at many restaurants). Nick came over and checked on us too and made sure we got extra parmesan cheese. The food was amazing as always. The salmon was perfectly grilled and my parents' caesar salad and pasta bolognese was fantastic. The birthday ice cream at the end was a very sweet touch! Thank you for a great evening!
