I go to Il Fornaio often. I enjoy their Vegan food. My friends enjoy the variety of options they offer such as glutinous free, vegetarian, and vegan.

Very nice experience! Our waiter was excellent! As well as the other staff members. We were all very happy with our meals. We'll go again soon!

Quality dining experience. Best part was service (Lizzie!) Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Food is consistently strong. Spacious seating and noise does not overwhelm. Their strength is always delivering. A definite repeat establishment.

Il Fornaio always provides an excellent selection of well-prepared Italian food with great service in a nice setting. The only drawback to the Burlingame location is the noise level when it's busy because of the high, open ceiling so great for groups but harder for a more intimate conversation. The Corte Madera location is much quieter.

An invitation for dinner celebrating their 40 year wedding anniversary was a very good excuse to have dinner at this place. The bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was a starter with the fried calamari plate… I had the house salad with the seabass fish and it was delicious and perfect

Il Fornaio I used an overflow room for some of their tables for Thanksgiving dinner that I had booked months prior. It was like we weren't even at the restaurant. It was so detached and weird. And on top of it, we ended up sitting next to a table with three screaming children- it was a miserable experience.

We were delighted to see how busy Il Fornaio was when we went there for Thanksgiving dinner. It's a lovely restaurant with beautiful ambiance and decor. Dinner was 4 courses, all well timed so that when we finished one dish, the next one arrived shortly thereafter. Staff was efficient and friendly and they managed to keep things moving without much delay. The two small drawbacks for us were part of the food had been plated ahead of time while waiting for the rest making some side dishes cool or cold and we would have liked to have coffee with our pie but the pie came and then the coffee took too long so we ended up cancelling our coffee order. We would definitely go back again. The food was delicious.

All the food was super yummy, the salmon & calamari was a table favorite. Awesome seasonal (switched their seasonal drink that has coconut puree with mezcal) and classic drinks. Carla & Chelsea were great in accommodating our dinner. 12/10.

The service was very good, but the pasta we ate was not good. It was overcooked. It had no flavor, everything was very bland, like it had been diluted in water. I think that after this experience, I wouldn't return

2 kids and 3 Adults on a Sunday evening the restaurant was half full. The service was super slow, the food was average and definitely not worth the price, the 2 kids looked at the kids menu and ordered Chicken Alfredo pasta and they were $40 each. We learnt that there is no Chicken Alfredo pasta on the kids menu (which they could have told us) and who the heck charges $40 for Alfredo pasta? The ambiance is nice but i still cant get over the cost. Definitely NOT worth it.
