My family and I used to frequent Juban, mostly the Burlingame one. Every so often the one in Japan Town in San Francisco. We noticed things had changed in quality and menu. While the meats and vegetables were fresh, I didn't care much for the desserts they currently have available. They used to be more appealing. Coconut, lemon, mango sherbets. The thing I didn't like was the service!! The server was slow and seeved items out of order!! He also failed to replace the grill! We had to bring it to his attention! He failed to properly oil them, that is why the food was constantly sticking to them and burningthe food! When I had forgotten a couple of things that I should have ordered, he went to the back, and I could hear him complaining! We ordered over $100 worth of food...the least he could do was be more attentive and complaining about our ordering more food was rude!

Amazing wagyu beef! Very good and friendly service. The kimchi was nice and spicy. It provided a great balance to the delicious fatty wagyu ribeye.

I came here with a group of 6 people. What a great time that was. The servers were nice amd really fun. Our group also finish a few bottles of Sake and Souchu. We all had a great time.

Favorite Japanese Restaurant! I love how you can grill your own food, it makes for a fun experience. They have quality meats and vegetables and their salads and soups are delicious as well! They used to have a location in Japan Town but moved out here, still follow them where ever they go!

I don’t typically leave reviews, but since I’ve been waiting on the check for 30 minutes I have time. I have been completely abandoned in the restaurant, only having staff come by to shut off the in table grill. After dropping off my food no one has come back and done a follow up. I’ve been without water my entire meal. I don’t eat out much but when I do, I don’t want the service to overshadow the food. Lack of service ruined experience. Protein portions are small.
