Unfortunately we went for a 50th birthday dinner. Arrived 25 minutes early on a Saturday night only to find out the bar was closed for a private party. We were not able to order a drink while we waited for a table. Service was slow, 15-20 minutes for a drink, food was mediocre at best. Do not recommend.

The menu has a wide variety of seafood and it holds its own with other chop houses in the Bay Area. The view is of the bay is great from anywhere in the dining room but I'll always request a window seat. Good for any occasion...especially when you want a lasting good memory!

It has been many years since the last time I was there. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food and service was great! Love the view/ambiance. Planning to go back again soon!

Excellent service and delicious food. The Mahi Mahi with gnocchi was pillowy and flavorful.

The service started out fine but as they got busier, we saw our waitron less and less. When I was served a nearly raw portion of prime rib when I asked for medium well, I knew that I wasn't being paid attention to. I had to ask for water, ask for salt and pepper (I just stole it from a nearby table) and it was overall a very disappointing experience. This is not what it used to be a decade ago. Nothing close to it!

Our 47th wedding anniversary was made all the more special thanks to a wonderful evening at Kincaid's. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. As lovely as the meal was, our server truly elevated the night with warm attention and gracious service. We're fortunate to have many dining options on the peninsula, yet Kincaid's continues to stand out. They have never disappointed us over the years, and this visit was no exception. It was a pleasure celebrating such a meaningful milestone there, and we left feeling grateful for a memorable evening. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for helping make our anniversary dinner so special. We'll look forward to the next visit.

I ordered the Mahi Mahi dish and the fish was fibrous and difficult to cut through, not flaky, due to overcooking. That was disappointing. It was served with gnocchi, which added nothing of significance to the dish, just another element. The words ‘Happy Anniversary' were written in chocolate on our dessert plate (which we appreciated) but ‘Anniversary' was misspelled.

Kincaid's used to be a reliable spot for many families—a place for celebrations and solid meals. It offered upscale dining for a reasonable price, with decent food, a good atmosphere, and consistent service. I started going to Kincaid's over twenty years ago, mainly at the Jack London Square (JLS) but also the Burlingame location. The JLS spot stood out for its view, bar vibe and was convenience to the East Bay . When JLS closed, my visits shifted to Burlingame, which at first kept up the same standards. Over time, though, things changed. The upscale touch faded, and the quality of food and service declined. Last night (11/29/25) I went to Kincaid's to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The bar was still impressive, but the experience didn't live up to expectations. We waited too long to be seated for our reservation. Our server seemed inexperienced, leading to slow and awkward service. Appetizers and mains came out unevenly. My sautéed mushrooms arrived ten minutes after my ribeye, which was slightly undercooked and lukewarm by then. The bill was nearly $500 for five dinners, two appetizers, two deserts and two cocktails...no wine. The food was average at best. My steak was just okay and not worth $60, plus $12 for mushrooms. My wife's seafood trio was small and poorly put together. The other meals—a small filet, shrimp steak combo, and Mahi—were all just okay, not great, and overpriced. I wanted the night to be special for my daughter's birthday, but it ended up being a letdown—rushed, uneven, and not worth the cost. The food and service just weren't what they used to be. Kincaid's used to be a top choice for us, but its decline has been obvious. We'll remember the good times, but it's clear the restaurant is not what it once was.

One of the best meals we've had in a very long time. Every dish (and we ordered 4 apps, 4 entrées and dessert) was top level in taste and presentation. I would have given 6 stars (if I could) but the service was very subpar. The apps arrived quickly but the entrées and dessert took waaay longer than they should have. The waiter came by 3 times to say he would check on our dessert. He was very pleasant tho. Would still go back for the food!

My family had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner, dinner was very tasty from appetizers down to their dessert. One of my favorite restaurants.

They were very busy for Thanksgiving dinner but the service was outstanding, the food came out perfectly timed and dinner was great. Thank you to the entire staff that worked so hard so we could enjoy Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving meal here is a great option for those who do not want to prepare such an extravagant meal at home! The selections for salad/soup, entree, and dessert were varied and plenty. The food was excellent, as was the service.

Kincaids is the go-to restaurant we always go for good food, good service and good views. Our server, Judi, was incredibly friendly, accommodating and ever-present. They had a special Thanksgiving dinner. It was a great value: for $39, soup/salad, entree and dessert. In these difficult financial times, it was a steal!

We had a long travel day from Southern California during the Thanksgiving weekend. Our dinner tradition of a Fisherman's Wharf eatery once we reached the City had to be changed due to family circumstances. Our Open Table "substitute" of Kincaid's Bayhouse did not disappoint. Though the food was delicious, we found the portions were a bit small for the price. The wait staff was very accommodating to the 3 year old in our family keeping her well entertained as we enjoyed our meal. Desserts were yummlicious! Next time we travel to Burlingame, Kincaid's Bayhouse will be a must stop!

The food was very good. We enjoyed everything. The server was very nice and friendly. The only issue was table detail. When our main course came, the soup cups were empty and still on the table. The person that served us(not our server) left them on the table. After we finished dinner, the plates were not cleared. We paid the bill and left with the dirty dishes still on the table...
