We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner at Kincaid's in Burlingame CA. We were seated at a lovely window table overlooking the beautiful Bay. Hubby chose the prix fixe menu with a first course of Clam Chowder, second course of Prime Rib with Mashed Potatoes, and Creme Brulee for his third course. I was totally surprised to find the restaurant so busy and hectic. I am pretty sure the staff was overwhelmed for a Monday night. It had to do with a company conference meeting being held in the bar patio for the evening which carried over to dining. I did not get my requested window seating since the other party had priority. I was not too happy about that as I wanted to observe the moon and view since it was Mid Autumn Moon festival that day. Food quality was good given the...

Nice dining experience, but the restaurant was TOO COLD. It was dinner time and air conditioner was blowing and we were very cold. Asked waiter if something could be done and she said she would speak to manager. She came back and said the air conditioner would go off in a few minutes, but it never did. Otherwise, "dinner special" prime rib was great deal and the decor of the restaurant is nice for special occasions.
