An amazing experience. Will is an amazing human. This place has great food and tea. Highly recommended.
This establishment serves an amazing tea service. I grew up enjoying this ritual as a girl so to have the experience stateside is amazing. The pastries and savories are top notch and the ambiance is peaceful and Cal casual. Do yourselves a favor and invite a friend or 2 to enjoy an afternoon tea!
It’s hard to believe what happened at our tea service today. After arriving on time for our 2:30 reservation, we stood around awkwardly while servers ignored us. Eventually, we were seated and spoken to a couple of times but without any service. Finally after 40 minutes, we were given waters, but only after we requested them. Next came a plate of sweets—strangely before any sandwiches or real food—but which we ate hungrily, without any tea. We were finally served tea 10 minutes after that, after asking again. Then came another extended wait—for the sandwiches, salad, scones, etc. When they finally came out and we saw the bed of greens and no frills sandwiches, it made no sense why these items would take so long to serve. The whole experience felt like a slap in the face. Not to mention it was Mother’s Day and I was there to celebrate with my two small children, husband, and mother. The lack of transparency, planning and bare minimum level of execution on such a well-known busy holiday within the restaurant industry was simply shameful. In the end, after 2 hours of awkwardness and disappointment, a staff member, I’m guessing a management figure, came around to hobnob and when I tried to express my disappointment, he completely avoided any discussion of it. We left not only without any compensation for the extreme delay, but also without any accountability taken at all. We always try to be kind and understanding, but this went beyond understanding. The most bitter, disastrous tea/service I’ve ever experienced.
Fantastic. Tea was fantastic. The food was fantastic. There were women celebrating a baby shower; shopping for bridal hounds; and a table of teens with their mom's at a separate table.
We took my 4y and the princess tea was perfect.
The owner and his mother are so cute. Ask him about any ingredient and will tell you about the farm it came from.
I walked out with multiple bags of tea.
This quaint little tea shop is the perfect place to relax and unwind. They have a wonderfully shaded pavilion full of plants and unique tables. The service is wonderful and it was a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy tea. While the food menu is not expansive, the tea menu is quite extensive for green, black, white, and red teas. The menu is very reasonable compared to other places serving tea towers. We especially liked the shortbread and madeleines. I would definitely visit again.
Amazing! Will the owner is fantastic, the tea is so good, the food too especially the jam. Love this place!!
Unprofessional and untrained staff with no supervision. Stale Bread scones and cookies (old). I paid extra $8.95 for a different kind of tea pot, plus la good tip which I regret,. I made reservation with owner who promised a lot of food which was the case but did not mention that the food was inedible. Very disappointed and so was my guest. I will never go back.
We accidently found Lelands walking around the neighborhood. Even though it was before opening, Wil greeted us openly and invited us to look around. We eventually ordered the house made scones with clotted cream, lemon curd, and a glass of Salty Girl Rose' ? it was a perfect match. Check out this little local gem

We had a wonderful experience at Leland Tea Co. The food was so good: very simple but excellent flavor and quality. The teas were lovely. The service was friendly. We had a party of 6 so we did 2 orders of “Tea for 3”. Everyone left full and happy. This little gem is a definite do over.
Kid-friendliness: We had two kids with us. They have a special platter for kids with PB&J sandwiches and some goodies. The kids also enjoyed sampling some different teas.

Everyone was super friendly and the guy who helped me took time to help get some loose leaf tea and had a cute story to go with it. Will be coming back soon for more tea!

Great service and fantastic atmosphere! I loved the tea selection, and it felt like a very fun spot to grab tea and light food. It has already been mentioned in other reviews but the portion sizes are quite small, so my friend and I went somewhere else for more food after eating here. I’d still come back though, overall it was a great experience.

This was a great tea place. They offer tea service of varying levels for one or more and a variety of sandwiches, salads, and pastries. They have a great selection and a wonderful staff that is happy to make recommendations. We had the blue eyes tea which was delicious and complex. I also got a blend of two of their teas to bring home, can't wait to try it. Will definitely be back.
Parking: Parking was easy to find and while paid it is very inexpensive.
