We made a reservation via open table for 6:15pm on a Saturday night. We arrived around 6:05pm to find the restaurant closed and dark. Luckily we were able to find a restaurant that could take walk ins. We had wanted to try Mimosa but I guess we never will now. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed dining at Mimosa. Mario has spent a lot of time and thought preparing the space and menu. He even refinished the tables and chairs himself. I had the beef lasagna and it was delicious! A dish that is hard to do wrong but he and his staff did it exceptionally well. We'll be back!

A wonderful addition to the Broadway corridor in Burlingame! Have now been there twice and both times the cuisine, service and ambiance are top notch. Have had the lasagna, the lamb shank and tried the smoked salmon pappardelle and everything is perfectly prepared. The service is exceptional, the kind you only get an from owner / operator establishment. Mimosa will definitely stay in the rotation!

Went here for lunch. The space is modern, clean, and well furnished. The food came out promptly and was very good. We found the person taking our order to be flip, friendly one moment and then rude the next. Very polite when dropping off the menus. When taking our order, we asked a few questions about the menu, it was as if we offended them by asking. This flip attitude came back again as we finished lunch and we asked for the check, it seemed to be a problem that we asked for the check instead of waiting for it to arrive.
They were too busy to seat us for our Father's Day reservation. I understand this is a newer restaurant, but reservations/promises should not be kept if they cannot be held to.
Welcome surprise! Delicious creative food, helpful, cheerful service and lovely setting. We had read rave reviews and Mimosa lived up to them. The owner is delightful in informing you about the nuances of the menu. The bruschetta was the best Ive eaten. Two of us had the delicious lamb shank with asparagus and highly recommend it. The hamburger and brisket were also excellent.

The service was excellent. A new restaurant that hasn't been found yet as it was very quiet for a Friday night. But the lamb shank was very tasty and a good price for the size. Limited wine menu but a nice mix. Give it a try.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant on Broadway. The service is unmatched. Our waiter truly cared about the experience and went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased. The food is absolutely amazing – super fresh salad and the most delicious homemade Vegetable soup I've had in a long time. Absolutely the best meal I've had in Burlingame lately and easy on the wallet. Highly recommend!
