I love this Palmetto location. It's super close to a few workout studios and is the perfect post-gym snack! I never craved acai bowls unless I was in Hawaii, but that mindset changed when I came across Palmetto. I believe they plan on expanding rapidly in the coming years, so hopefully quality stays the same. The Burlingame location is my go to as it's pretty close to home and convenient to get to. I would recommend order via the app because there's only one self-order kiosk in the store and it can take a while if it's busy. The only downfall is that you can't access some discounts (primarily the healthcare worker discount) via the app. My orders have always been ready on time...but communication can be a little hit or miss at this store. I recently had a mishap with the app and popped in prior to my workout/an hour before my pick-up time to ensure that the correct order got made. I spoke with one employee who assured me that she would convey the message. When I returned to pick up the mobile order, I decided to check my bowls prior to leaving to make sure that the mistake was corrected. Thankfully I did because I found out that message did not get passed on as promised.

So glad to have an açai bowl near my workout class! I treat myself here whenever they're open after my workout class and it's the best treat ever! I usually customize my own bowl and this is my toppings for the Medium (16 oz):açai, pitaya (dragonfruit),blue chia pudding, honey almond, almond butter, granola, strawberry, banana, blueberries, cacao nibs, and bee pollen powder. You can top it off with honey and honestly it's the best combo ever! I do recommend you eat outside of the place as they have benches outside. If you take it home, you might risk it melting!

In SoCal, acai bowls are pretty accessible, but in the Bay, not so much. That is until I discovered Palmetto Superfoods! Here, they offer bowls and smoothies. I usually build my own bowl. For me, the blue chia pudding is a must get in any of my bowls. Everything here tastes fresh. You can order ahead online or there is a screen to order inside. No seating inside, but there is outdoor public seating above. There is a parking lot and street parking around this location.

I got the Cafezinho bowl that comes with acai, cafezinho & coconut, and it tastes weird. Weird in a bad way. The cafezinho blend was sour & while the coconut blend tasted like gooey smush. The granola tasted a bit stale..Asked the staff if the taste was accurate and got a "yeah" periodt. Highly recommended getting something else & steer away from this one! We tried our best to eat half & tossed the rest away.

Was craving an acai bowl and was so happy with the one I got from Palmetto Superfoods. I decided to get one of their signature bowls, the Palm Blend. A small was the perfect size to fill me up. An icy blend of smoothie fruit with crunchy granola and smooth peanut butter, it was both a treat to myself but also made me feel like I was making a healthy choice. You order at the kiosk at the counter and your food is out only a few minutes later. They have some seating inside or you can also sit at a bench outside to enjoy your bowl.

I was really looking forward to getting an Açaí bowl, I get one daily… I’m visiting San Francisco, and I find this one on Google Maps… I walk in and I’m about to ask questions and they refer me to the IPad that someone is using as the person is taking the order… so I wait… When I go to start my order in the pad and ask questions the cashier by passes me an asks the person behind me what’s their order and not once asked me “How can I help you” so I bring up I was asked to use the iPad to do my order she then says I was just asking the person behind you what they wanted… Um you never asked me and I’m in front of you… sad it’s a nice atmosphere just sub par service.

Great healthy addition to Burlingame. You can customize your superfood bowls and topping are pretty much unlimited.Nice variety of bases (some of our favorites are mango, coconut, warm cinnamon oats).Very reasonable prices. A medium bowl can easily be shared by 2 people if you aren’t very hungry.I wish they had a few tables inside or outside but on a nice day you can go upstairs and eat at the public terrace.

Whenever I make a visit back to the Bay Area, I make this one of my stops. I always get a bowl and it's a straightforward process to customize your own bowl. You have a lot of options on how you customize from toppings and mixing up the bases. I tend to get a medium size, which is pretty generous portion. Never feel like they skimp on the toppings.Ordering has a bit of a downside. On my visit, there was a line and only one working tablet to put in the order. Maybe the people ahead of me took their sweet side or maybe I'm now an impatient New Yorker.

Lives up to the hype. Been meaning to check out this place and was pleasantly surprised. A meal, snack, or dessert... any and all the above :) Go with a signature bowl and/or freestyle it. Ingredients complement each other in an explosion of flavors and textures.

I would drive across the bay for these acai bowls. The first time I had one of these, I was comparing it to the best acai bowl I'd ever had in Hawaii. I love that you can personalize everything and there's no limit how many things you choose! My personal favorite bases are the Pitaya (Dragonfruit), Passionate Mango, and Tropical Spirulina. I also will always get almond butter in the bowl. These bowls truly hit different!

Very delicious! Love the three layers (of I don’t know what they are!9/17/2023I got the Palm blend and it is absolutely delicious. It has peanut butter, matcha and açaí! The proportion of all the ingredients are well balanced. Really appreciate the staff today, she is so kind and helpful!9/23/2023I tried the Carnaval Blend, the topping is mildly bitter (from the goji berry) but still very pleasant!
