The service has been excellent over the past several months. Even though it is not a fancy sit down place, the staff are very friendly, attentive & helpful. They must have a good manager.
Great pizzas and their Cobb salads were incredibly fresh. My favorite dish was the burrata with beets. Our server was attentive and took the time to explain the menu to us. Our party of ten with 2 toy poodles sat comfortably at the front patio with fire place.
Our first time here, the food was delicious! The vibe was on point for a lunch date and would be even better for a dinner vibe since they have a bar and upstairs eating area. The people here are super nice as well, I definitely recommend this place and I personally will be coming back everytime I'm in the area. Thanks for having us 💖
Not a bad tasting pizza, but the crust is so soft. No crisp at all. Definitely needs salt.
A fantastic recommendation made by the front desk staff at our hotel, the food here was absolutely delicious! The service was terrific as well, even sitting up on the loft/balcony area, our server was very attentive and our food came out pretty quick!
We started off with drinks and got to try the Rise Mimosa, Margarita, The Mule Train, and Whiskey Sour. The drinks were great and we followed that up with the Grassfed Meatballs and Burrata + Tomatoes w/Pesto, and we absolutely loved these starters!! Lastly, for our entrees we ordered the Carne and Quattro Formaggi which was undoubtedly the highlight out of everything we ordered!
We highly recommend anyone who is passing through Burlingame or flying in/out of SFO to make the short drive down to try out Rise Pizzeria!
Pretty good pizza 🍕
Owner was very kind helpful and generous
We really enjoyed our dinner. The pizza is delicious. The service was good. It's often our first choice for bringing a large group.
Absolutely delicious
While I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food, I found the service to be less than satisfactory. Despite the restaurant appearing to be quiet, we experienced considerable difficulty in ordering. We waited for approximately 20 minutes and eventually had to request assistance to order our drinks. Although the food arrived promptly and was excellent, the initial ordering and check process was quite challenging.

I usually don't like pizza, but that changed when we ate at Rise. Their pizzas and salad are delicious, fresh, and high quality. We also love their loggia (it has a fireplace) which feels cozy, inviting and fun. Also good for small groups.
There were 7 of us celebrating a birthday and we were seated upstairs. We each ordered our own pizza and they were all excellent. Unfortunately the acoustics are not good at all so we could barely hear ourselves speak. Our server spoke so soft we had to ask her to repeat herself several times. She was very slow, we were never offered more drinks or dessert. I also had to get up and find her to get our bill. I have been here numerous times this is the only bad experience
Wonderful place, amazing pizza and bread!! The service was fantastic and getting seated did not take long at all. Completely recommend, ate the food so fast I didn't have time for pictures!
Parking: Parking is easier to manage during the weekday afternoons. Can't say for certain on weekend experiences.

I recently visited Rise Pizzeria and had a good experience overall. The pizza was quite delicious, and the burrata was enjoyable, although I think it could be elevated with some fresh bread. The service was decent, and the staff were generally attentive. The location is convenient and adds to the appeal of the place. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual meal.

The service was friendly, but they repeatedly messed up the order. First, they got the wrong drink. They fixed it by making the "right" one and giving us the old one. We were fine. But then, they messed up on one of the pizzas. We ordered a half-and-half (pepperoni and onion on one side and mushrooms on the other), but they put all the toppings on the same half, which would have been amusing, but my son does not eat pepperoni or onion but specifically wanted mushrooms. Rise did not correct (or discount) the errant pizza. We have been here before with no issues, so this may have been a one-off, but the second error was so crazy that I don't see how the kitchen staff would not have at least thought to ask the server to confirm.
