Donuts are decent. They have gotten smaller and more expensive. Service is not what I would want to see. Atmosphere is old furniture and no decor.

This is a must for breakfast, if you’re staying overnight or here for a visit start your day off here!!!
I’m staying at a local hotel, they offer breakfast that was typical and way overpriced so I looked locally.
This gem has traditional and southern foods available for breakfast. Top top it off; amazing donuts and treats.
It has the classic diner appeal, and the people here are authentic & welcoming!
The place I’m staying is located about a half hour away (according to maps), but the view along my walk made it pass by seamlessly and was worth it!

Great donuts. Glad I stopped and tried two. It's been there since the 70's I was told they had good omelets , but on a budget with Trump's economy being bad.
The donuts were AMAZING great service and if you want you can stand in front of the train as it passes to get the breeze and you can sit in the shade, sun or inside if I could rate it ten stars I would

A true diner with table service, and a great selection of donuts and a few coffee options. I placed my order to go, so I didn't have the opportunity to sit in and enjoy my meal. The staff is friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The food is great! I had a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with hash browns, and it was bursting with flavor! I also had a couple of donuts, which I enjoyed a delicious French Cruller, and a buttermilk donut. Coffee was decent, amd enough to satisfy the caffeine craving.

Delicious breakfast. I ordered the fajita burrito, it was priced reasonably. A nice sized portion, made to perfection. I arrived Sunday morning about 9:30am, a popular local spot with about half the tables available at the breakfast rush. David took my order and was knowledgeable about the ingredients. I also like the open kitchen design, it really lets you see and or hear the masters as they create their work.

Save yourself the grief, they couldn't care less about their service. When I placed my mobile order a day early and called 3 hours before pickup to adjust my time by 45 minutes, I was assured this would be handled. However, I received a call at my original pickup time saying the food was already prepared and couldn't be remade. The staff offered only explanations for the mix-up rather than an apology or any attempt to accommodate the situation. This was particularly frustrating since I had provided both my name and order number when requesting the time change, and had been told it would be adjusted. When I requested a refund of my tip due to the poor service, this request was initially ignored. It took multiple follow-ups just to get the tip refunded, which felt like an unnecessary hassle on top of the original problem. I had hoped to become a regular customer, but good service would have included honoring the agreed-upon pickup time change, acknowledging the error when it occurred, and making some effort to retain my business. Instead, the experience left me feeling like customer satisfaction wasn't a priority.

This place offers a varied breakfast menu with something for everyone. The interior is simple and welcoming, nothing too fancy, but it does the job. The food? Delicious! From the eggs to the pancakes, everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
The only downside was the longer-than-usual wait time, but to be fair, the place was really busy—so it’s probably a sign they’re doing something right.
One small note: the potatoes felt like they were fried in older oil, but again, that might’ve just been a busy morning and they didn’t get a chance to refresh it.
Still, I’d definitely recommend it for a solid breakfast, great coffee, and by the way—their donuts were unexpectedly amazing!

update: we've ordered on GrubHub a few times almost every single time they forget something. Especially if you put it in the notes. they never read the comments. They always make something wrong. But I always do kind of weird moves like forgetting the hollandaise when you order a Benedict
I’ve been there in person a few times and they seem to do OK. however, whenever I order delivery, they just don’t really seem to care about the quality or portions of the food. Because they don’t need to be accountable? who knows?
The first time was for a holiday morning breakfast and my scramble was fine but the Nutella waffle I ordered for my kid was just a big huge mess. Completely soggy, and it was all incorporated into each other. They need to take heed of how other restaurants will put the Nutella and whip cream off to the side so that it doesn’t saturate your waffle for delivery
Recently, same thing, got myself a nice breakfast, which was OK but a little on the skimpy side with the potatoes which is unusual. Not bad though. However, the problem arises with the blueberry pancake I ordered for my kid, it arrives with no butter on the side no syrup. And then the look of disgust on my kids face when they take their first bite. So I take a bite and low and behold the blueberry pancake also has cinnamon and banana. Which my kid absolutely can’t stand. And to put the icing on the cake when cutting the pancake in half we quickly discovered that the entire center was completely raw pancake batter.
There’s plenty of other dives to go to the care about the quality of their food. I’m glad everybody’s so impressed with this place but I think we’ve gone for the last time. The donuts are OK but the place next to Burlingame train station is better.

5 Stars — Plus, Plus, Plus!
Royal Donuts on Broadway is hands down one of my favorite spots. The customer service is top-tier — always friendly, fast, and welcoming. I absolutely love getting their pancakes and hash browns — perfectly cooked and full of flavor every time. The coffee? Hot, fresh, and delicious — exactly how it should be. Shoutout to Terry and David — both are simply amazing! David gives such great customer service and always makes the visit enjoyable. The whole staff has a great sense of humor and makes the experience even better. This place is a gem. Highly recommend!
