Stacks serves a solid breakfast and coffee. I can tell ingredients aren’t the finest, but it doesn’t matter because I go to Stacks for the comfort of it, not the quality. Not to mention, the staff is friendly! :D

A beautifully decorated, Italian café themed, Brunch location in the heart of Burlingame! I've been a few times when I'm there on work trips and I've never been disappointed!

I wanted to like this place, but I did not. The food was ok to bad, and the price of everything is too high. Even if you cut the price in half, I would have a hard time rationalizing paying that much for the quality of food you get. The quantity is high, but if I dont like the food, having more of it does not make it better.

There does seem to be an older crowd that is a big fan of this place. I love diners and a big breakfast, but perhaps I am just not the right audience for this particular establishment.

This place is by far one of the best breakfast/ brunch spots in the area. I made a visit here with my previous girlfriend, since we were craving for some good brunch and we were in the area. Upon arrival, their was a bit of a wait, but I did not mind since I am a very patient person. When we were called, the staffs gave us an option to dine inside or at one of their outdoor tables. We chose outdoor since it was a warm and beautiful day. Their menu consists of breakfast platters, sandwiches, shareable items, special dishes, drinks and much more. It was our first meal of the day, so we ordered basically whatever sounded good. Everything was made to order which is always a plus because freshness matters. When our food arrived, it was more than we expected and it was enough for a second meal. The staffs were welcoming, well trained and understanding which made our visit a satisfying one. I recommend this place to all breakfast lovers, if you are looking for a quick bite in the morning or if you just want to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

An absolutely horrible experience. While the host was great and we got the table rather quickly, everything following that from service to food was horrible. We got a skillet and eggs Benedict. The benedict had a hair in it, our server never even came in to check on us and I had to waive down a busser to show the hair in the food. The server never came to check with us following that to offer a sorry or substitute. When I waived her down to get the check and take off the benedict from it she said a snippy sorry. My husband didn’t feel like leaving a tip and both the food and service so far was horrible so he left a dollar tip with a note explaining the small tip. As we were ready to leave the server came back to fight with us about the tip and the comment.

ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL! She the. Went on to cross off the tip and the note form the merchant copy of the bill. This is completely illegal to do. Never going again or recommending anyone to go.

A great place while you're just taking a stroll downtown to pop in and have a nice breakfast with the family. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. The portions are a really good size. The ambiance is nothing that you would ever see in a design magazine, but it works in making it feel more homey but also giving you a classic type of feeling, very comfortable. If you like pancakes, this is the place to go.
Oddly enough, I do not like pancakes and still always find a great meal to get.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Stacks only has standard food quality that isn't too far off from Denny's, but they charge for EVERY little thing. Regular coffee in a pot is charged per person, maple syrup to be added onto standard pancakes (starting north of $10 no less) is charged, and other additions/sides that seemed to be marked up astronomically.

Services is just okay. Nothing stands out, other than all of their little code of conduct type rules and upcharges that are scattered across the menu. The only thing that it beats Denny's or IHOP on is available seating.
