i went in early at around 7:20 to order (3) travelers for pickup at 8am. mind you it wasn't busy and they could have done it right then and there but i thought i would give them some time. the manager or supervisor on duty told the person at the register to set an alarm to start at 7:30. i get back at 8:00 and it wasn't ready. they said they were working on the last one and it would be 5 minutes. it was done at 8:11. i asked if it would be possible to get a pair of disposable gloves. just a pair, 2 pieces. the manage/supervisor said no. why? because she said she only has one box left in the back and she told me to go to dollar tree instead. like, really? can't spare 1 pair of gloves. it's too bad because for the most part i like the other staff because they are friendly and nice. i couldn't believe it. refused 1 pair of disposable gloves. wow!

Once upon a time, Starbucks claimed to be a “third place” - not home, not work, but a warm, welcoming space to relax, recharge, and connect. That vision died somewhere under a former CEO hell-bent on maximizing revenue per square foot at the expense of everything that once made Starbucks special.
I recently stopped by a Starbucks needing a quick caffeine boost and a moment to charge my phone. You’d think that’s a pretty standard ask in 2025. But no - this location had zero outlets available for customers. When I politely asked a barista if there was a charger I could use, I was met with a flat, unapologetic, “We don’t have any. You’ll have to get your coffee and go somewhere else to charge.”
Translation? Pay up, then get lost.

A few months ago, I started venturing into the Starbucks on Broadway here in Burlingame where I live, now ! A security job that I am doing now allows me to have Starbucks due to their locations and I’ve been ordering the same thing which is small Verona coffee with steamed half-and-half….. the attendants prepare them with their own approval send it to me I pay and walk out the door 😃 but today at the Broadway location in Burlington, Chenille the attendant that morning, actually steamed the cream for me, showed it to me and smiled and asked how much of it would you like me to pour in their serve for you ? And I am going out of my mind in adoration and thankfulness. I’ve been waiting for that question. I think for three months now….lol that is my home spot now Starbucks on Broadway in Burlingame 👋

Chenille is an attendant at this location and she Rocks ! My boyfriend loves steamed cream in his coffee.But none of the attendants at Starbucks have ever asked him how much cream to pour into the coffee they pour the desired amount of the attendant and never leave it up to him until today.This young attendant named Chenille Asked him And she became a star to him- No Starbucks attendant Has ever asked him that and he was quite elated ! Thank you Starbucks for your wonderful worker at 1230 Broadway in the Burlingame.

I order an iced coffee with 2 pumps of classic. The iced coffee tasted burnt. I ended up throwing it away.
Everything was there, but I was very surprised by the smell of the hospital in the room, and this is the opinion of both my husband and Son, and the drinks were great, 3 types of coffee. Thank you
