Excellent service, atmosphere and food. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond with wishing us a happy anniversary. They surprised us with table decorations, a card and a delicious crème brûlée to top off our meal. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread with crab meat, truffle stuffed gnocchi and a beef filet entree, everything was delicious. We also had an old fashioned and espresso martini that looked amazing and tasted even better. Thank you for making our anniversary special!

The food quality at Stella is not as good as it used to be. I had the short ribs which were tender but I've never experienced having as much fat in this cut of meat before. My wife had the sole piccata special, but unfortunately it was soaked in frying oil. She couldn't finish it. We did enjoy sharing the pumpkin cheese cake special which was quite nice. We came with another couple and we all agreed the food at Stella isn't of the same quality as it used to be. Until it improves, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant especially since most entrees are between $36 and $44.

Absolutely wonderful. My partner and I dined for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make our meal and time at Stella something special. They sat us in a quiet area, decorated our table, and sent a delicious crème brûlée at the end of our meal. The food is delicious, service is outstanding, and the ambiance of the restaurant is lively and romantic. The bar area is inviting and it would be a nice place to eat alone or enjoy more casual dining. Overall- impressed and will be a returning customer.

Because of traffic, we had a very tight window before we had to be at SFO and the staff was great! They got our food to us quickly and made it seem effortless. Next time we hope to have more time to enjoy the lively atmosphere.

I was very excited to experience Stella, but unfortunately the service did not meet expectations. My reservation was at 6:00 PM, but we arrived at 6:50 due to traffic. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and repeatedly asked my name in a dismissive way, which felt disrespectful. We were then seated at the worst table in the restaurant—right by the kitchen door with constant noise. Our food took over 90 minutes to arrive, and during that time no one refilled our water or checked in on us. The service overall was very poor, despite the fact that I still left a 28% tip. If a restaurant treats guests with attitude rather than hospitality, it will be difficult to succeed.

The new restaurant is beautiful except for the side room- zero ambiance. The food was excellent as always. Our waiter was horrible. He definitely shouldn't be employed by Stella- not up to their standards!

We made the mistake of ordering the special without asking for the price, and our bill w 2 glasses of wine was $90pp. It was just a bit jarring and make the not-spectacular entree more glaringly so. But the real reason I'd like to leave a review is that the staff was not discreet at all about cleaning up the restaurant at 8p while many tables were still full. First a loud trash can was wheeled between the tables. Then 5 minutes of sorting/drying silverware with a loud “clash” sound every 4 seconds as one is tossed into the pile. It felt like I was eating in a cafeteria! None of the 3 of us particularly liked our meal. Staff was lovely and attentive. Big ambiance difference between main room and being stuck in the back.
