is truly a special place. Every visit is a great experience from start to finish. The food is consistently amazing—creative, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—and the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. What really says it all is that my dad, who is not vegan, absolutely loves this place. That alone speaks volumes. And for me and my wife, it's one of our favorite spots—we enjoy it every single time. Please keep all the good things going. Incredible food, amazing atmosphere, and an experience that keeps us coming back. 🌱✨
I have been here several times. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area for Vegans. The food, service, and atmosphere are all fantastic.
Had a really nice dinner at Twelvemonth. The bar bites and small plates were the standout (friend mushroom and dumplings). Dessert was also very good (tahini cake). Everything very flavorful and delicious. The sunchoke curry was a little bland, especially after the tasty appetizers. Cocktails are delicious. And the ambiance is fantastic - love the big huge feeling, the greenery and the relaxed vibe. Service was great
This is a fancy vegan restaurant in downtown Burlingame. I'm not a vegan but I wanted to try it out and it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the crispy mushroom a lot and would recommend to order that! However for the main course I felt there was a lack of flavor in some dishes like the curry and the truffle ravioli. Overall, the service was great and the atmosphere was spectacular but I wish there food was more flavorful
Meal was delicious. The service was also really nice. I appreciated that our server pointed us towards the better things on the menu.
We dined here Sunday December 7th 2025. The food was good but not good enough to wait 90 minutes (yes, that's a hour and a half) for our order to come from the kitchen to the table. Very disappointed.
I've been dining at Twelvemonth for a long time, so I was pretty surprised when they rolled out the whole “prix fixe only in the dining room” policy earlier this year. The reality was simple: if you didn't want the prix fixe, you were pushed into the lounge with tiny tables, while the main dining room sat half-empty. The messaging around it — “smooth service,” “elevated experience,” etc. — didn't match what was actually happening. It just felt like an unnecessary divide. I voiced my concerns at the time, and clearly I wasn't the only one, because I'm happy to see the policy has now been completely reversed. No more forced prix fixe, no more segregation by menu choice. Everyone can dine in the main room again, which is exactly how it always used to be. The dining room is one of the best parts of this restaurant — warm, spacious, beautifully designed — and it never made sense to treat it like exclusive territory. I'm genuinely glad they listened to their customers and restored things to normal. Food is still great, and with this change, the overall experience finally lines up with what made Twelvemonth special in the first place.
The food was good, but salty. The service was absolutely atrocious. I don't think I've received service this bad in a long time.
Everything we tried was delicious. The waiter was very informative and answered multiple questions about many of their dishes. This was our third time dining there and we will be back.
Food wasn't as good as the previous times I have been there. Service was ok - they forgot that someone in our party had a birthday, even though I mentioned it a couple of times to the waitstaff. A table near us had them sing happy birthday and brought a desert with candle, but they did nothing for us - awkward! A bit of a letdown all round!

Service only gets a 4 when everything else was a 5 because our otherwise-outstanding-waitperson forgot one of the dishes we ordered, then required a second prompting to bring us desert menus.
Crispy mushrooms were tasty, the lentil bolognese pasta was also delicious. Risotto was very different than what I expected.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Dinner at TwelthMonth! I had a wonderful time at TwelthMonth! The food was excellent and the service phenomenal — our waiter was truly outstanding. The elderflower drink was incredible, such a refreshing start to the meal. The dumplings were amazing, the lumpia was okay, but the mushrooms were absolutely delicious! For the main dish, the risotto was perfection — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. And dessert was the perfect ending: the cake with matcha ice cream was amazing, followed by a comforting chai latte to close out the evening. Everything about the experience was thoughtful and beautifully done. Highly recommend!
Very happy with selection of food. However the quantity of food served was highly small. I didn't go in expecting very large quantities . I am unlikely to go back unless they improve the quantity served.
Really enjoyed our experience here Table for two was a little bit small But outside of that everything superb! The sliders, the Twelvemonth salad, and even the Allium free Jain friendly dinner menu options, wow!! Too bad the butternut squash soup was not available that night otherwise we were going to go for the tasting menu, but instead ordered à la carte. The chocolate pot dessert was splendid! Will definitely return!
