A good meal with excellent service, however unlike other tasting menus there wasn't too much explanation of the dishes when they were presented. Also the space was cavernous which is fine, and we were at a booth, but since it wasn't crowded it seems to lack the intimacy I was looking for. More of a place to be seen vibe.
Had a lovely Valentine's Day meal here. Service was attentive and friendly. The decoration and ambiance were top-notch. The drink selections were all enticing. The first 2 or 3 courses felt inspired and packed with flavor but fell off around the middle. Portions were on the smaller side and could have included 2-3 more courses or made the portions larger. The dessert was basically a bowl of cream with fruit bits, which was nice because it filled us up but kind of left us feeling like the prefix started strong and ended up just alright. I would not consider buying the prefix again for the price we paid ($160/pp after fees), which is a bummer because we've been here a couple of times before and had stellar meals. I haven't lost faith in the restaurant and will be back but will not do a prefix here again, unfortunately.
Overall, the food was underwhelming. Despite not being a picky eater, I found the curry completely bland, and the cauliflower steak was disappointingly small. I paid $400 for the meal and wasn't even offered a photo because I didn't spend an additional $200 per person on the pairing. Nice touch. Ambiance and service was great but we also came when there were only 2 tables sat.
Top 3 plant based restaurants I've ever been to. Aside from great food there was standout service.
We found this bar to be welcoming and very cool vibes amazing mixologists at the bar and very very helpful we loved it would highly recommend

is truly a special place. Every visit is a great experience from start to finish. The food is consistently amazing—creative, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—and the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. What really says it all is that my dad, who is not vegan, absolutely loves this place. That alone speaks volumes. And for me and my wife, it's one of our favorite spots—we enjoy it every single time. Please keep all the good things going. Incredible food, amazing atmosphere, and an experience that keeps us coming back. 🌱✨
I have been here several times. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area for Vegans. The food, service, and atmosphere are all fantastic.
Had a really nice dinner at Twelvemonth. The bar bites and small plates were the standout (friend mushroom and dumplings). Dessert was also very good (tahini cake). Everything very flavorful and delicious. The sunchoke curry was a little bland, especially after the tasty appetizers. Cocktails are delicious. And the ambiance is fantastic - love the big huge feeling, the greenery and the relaxed vibe. Service was great
This is a fancy vegan restaurant in downtown Burlingame. I'm not a vegan but I wanted to try it out and it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the crispy mushroom a lot and would recommend to order that! However for the main course I felt there was a lack of flavor in some dishes like the curry and the truffle ravioli. Overall, the service was great and the atmosphere was spectacular but I wish there food was more flavorful
Meal was delicious. The service was also really nice. I appreciated that our server pointed us towards the better things on the menu.

We dined here Sunday December 7th 2025. The food was good but not good enough to wait 90 minutes (yes, that's a hour and a half) for our order to come from the kitchen to the table. Very disappointed.
I've been dining at Twelvemonth for a long time, so I was pretty surprised when they rolled out the whole “prix fixe only in the dining room” policy earlier this year. The reality was simple: if you didn't want the prix fixe, you were pushed into the lounge with tiny tables, while the main dining room sat half-empty. The messaging around it — “smooth service,” “elevated experience,” etc. — didn't match what was actually happening. It just felt like an unnecessary divide. I voiced my concerns at the time, and clearly I wasn't the only one, because I'm happy to see the policy has now been completely reversed. No more forced prix fixe, no more segregation by menu choice. Everyone can dine in the main room again, which is exactly how it always used to be. The dining room is one of the best parts of this restaurant — warm, spacious, beautifully designed — and it never made sense to treat it like exclusive territory. I'm genuinely glad they listened to their customers and restored things to normal. Food is still great, and with this change, the overall experience finally lines up with what made Twelvemonth special in the first place.
The food was good, but salty. The service was absolutely atrocious. I don't think I've received service this bad in a long time.
Plant based bakery 5 Stars!
Absolutely delicious!
Their sourdough bread is incredibly fresh. My favorite is the enchilada brioche bun.
Best bakery in the area!!

Everything we tried was delicious. The waiter was very informative and answered multiple questions about many of their dishes. This was our third time dining there and we will be back.
