I do not recommend Urban Kitchen, and I do not understand how other people are.
My initial thoughts when I visited this “restaurant” last week was to give it 3 stars, but as I continued to think about it, I think it is deserving of 2. Let’s go through everything, shall we?
The service is extremely minimal. It operates more like some kind of cafeteria. You order by the cash register and get a table number, pick a table, and they bring you your food. That’s it. They do not even bring you your water- you have to grab it yourself.
This does not seem like an issue until you look at the prices. These are not even restaurant prices, these are like fine dining prices. Up to $10 for appetizers and $20-30 for main courses. It only gets worse when you finally see the portions. I ordered a mac-n-cheese appetizer because I refused to pay the abysmal price for any of the bigger entries, and it was served in the most shallow bowl I have ever seen. It did not even come with any sides or special toppings, unless those little crouton crumbs somehow make it worth that $10 price tag.
But wait, there’s more! It was not even good. It was horribly bland, and I could only finish half of my plate before I had to box the rest. I did not know cheese could even be that flavorless.
I truly cannot comprehend why Urban Kitchen has anything more than 3 stars on Google at most. If you do not mind paying a lot for food, good for you, but mediocre food? The only, and I mean only reason it does not get a 1 star is because the location and atmosphere was pleasant. That’s it. Oh, and the employees were fine, but they are not related to my review.

The Steak Fajita bowl was a little of a let down. It did have good flavor but was mainly lettuce, very little rice, beans, onions, etc. Atmosphere and staff were decent. Not sure I’ll be back for a fajita bowl.

The food is delicious and the staff are amazing! Our picky eater of a son enjoyed his meal and asked to come back before we had finished eating.

The food and service were exceptional! Everyone was extremely friendly and the restaurant was very clean and cute. Highly recommend the shakshuka benedict!

I placed an order for pick-up. Was told that it would take 10mins, which ended up being 25 mins. I got home and discovered that the spicy chicken sandwich I ordered was burned. I tried to stomach it but I couldn't continue. It appeared as if the chicken had been cooked in two days old oil and there was barely any sauce and flavor to it. Huge disappointment! I don't recommend this restaurant at all!!

Absolutely loved our experience here! The food was not only delicious but made with such care — you can tell every dish is crafted with passion. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this spot truly delivers. We’ll definitely be back soon!!

My wife and I eat here 1-2 times per week. The food is amazing (love the brunch) steak and eggs is my go to but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Great vibe and great he customer service is as good as it gets!

Fresh, simple, delicious. These guys deliver healthy meals with a variety menu that will please everyone.

Such a convienient place to get healthy, fresh food decently priced! Location is amazing, they have an outdoor area with shade and the staff was super friendly!
